I own a 2011 Sonata, and at around 3000 miles I began noticing a screeching sound (sounds like metal to metal) from the steering column every time I turn the wheel. On 08/18/2010, at 7am, I paid the teller $20 cash for gas. As I was pumping, I noticed the sign shows 2 column, one for with car wash and other without car wash. I saw $3.09/gal for w/o carwash for 87 octane I was suppose to be pumping for. I looked at my pump and it says $3.139/gal and looked up again, I saw this price but it was for supreme with car wash. IOC does not worried about the people since they are not doing any inspection to their agencies whether they are not functioning properly or not. There are lot of complaints are reported against Sri Chella gas agency - Selaiyur, Chennai - 73, but they did not take any action against that agency it seems IOC encouraging such attitudes of the agency. Beware of this garage. They will overcharge you for work, and possibly charge for work not done. They will repair things before authorizing, and then hold your car until you pay. They advertise "Buy here, Pay Here" but slip in "lease" papers instead. They steal your money and then force you to use their shop to fix a car. Never telling you ahead of time the estimated cost to let you make a choice of fixing it or not. Within 24 hrs of buying car, it broke down and they did make any arrangements for it to be fixed. Rented a Sonata with almost 29, 000 miles on it for 3 days from E-Z Rent-A-Car, 5124 Cypress Street, Tampa, Fl 33607. When I started driving the car it was somewhat noisy and I thought it had a flat tire or a hole in the muffler. One of this company's trucks was trying to run me off the road today. I was merging onto I-70 in Colorado when a light brown semi trailer comes up behind me going twice the speed limit of the on-ramp. Apparently he didn't think I was going fast enough so he starts to tailgate me and blow his obnoxiously loud airhorn. I had sold my car (KA04-MB-2706) to TVS Sundaram Iyengar & Sons Limited. The over-zealous car dealers took my signatures on all car ownership transfer papers to be submitted to RTO stating that they would complete the transfer procedure themselves, which was never done. Now, I am getting notices for fine payments for any traffic violations caused by the current owner of the car. Check engine light on took it to the dealer who told me that it the charcoal device in the emission control system needed replacing, over $600. I ask if it was covered under the ZERO emissions warranty. They told me that it wasn't. Not very trusting of car dealers I called Toyota customer service. They told me that it was covered. I purchased a 2010 Buick Lacross from this dealer and it only had one key. They said that they had ordered one form General Motors back in Dec.2009 when they received the car with only one key. I have had this car a month and I still do not have my other key. I am very worried if I lose this key, I will not be able to use my car. I think a month is plenty of time to receive my key.
