First of all, the way that the agreement is laid out, it makes it easier for companies to leech more money from hardworking individuals in an already broken economy. My husband and I were scammed in 2004. We were guaranteed a great investment/rental income opportunity with great availability. And Yes, the yacht club, Sunset inter-club were also part of the deal. If unhappy or disappointed, we would be bought out with the assistance of their sales dept. We have only been able to book Fisherman's Village once. This company opperates as a lead generation company and they are anything but. I recently did a trial with this company and I immediately canceled. The leads were aweful and I am sure they were resold to me. My reps have yet to make a single sale and this is no suprise to me. The leads have stated they were contacted by as many as 5 different companies. I was told that they would be using my direct phone numbers and material and would go straight to my firm. I just received a letter from Bank of America stating that as of September 1, 2009, my checking account will be charged with a $12.00 since I don't meet THEIR minimum requirements of $750.00 When I openend this Regual Checking, I was told that I had a "No minimum requirement" checking account. I have recently went on facebook and joint the mystery shopper site, which has taken money out of my bank for a free kit, they took £2.48 + £1 overseas handling charge which i was fully aware of. Waited to receive the email i was told i would with all the details i needed but got nothing. Today a further charge of £46.56 + £1 has gone out of my account which i was not aware of and was never told about. I now cannot contact the company with the means of cancelling the account by phone or any other means. We applied for a loan with Franklin Credit Group and had been approved. We were then told that since we were a High Risk Loan that we needed to pay 5 months up front. This person was know to our branch for some time. He often brought vehicles in to be valued and inspected under the "for free scheme". One day he visited to have his own vehicle inspected, serviced and vehicle testing (MOT) to which as we had all become quite familiar with Jay as he was known then, let him have 30 days credit.
