I bought a Tom Tom Go 920T, The mount on the unit detached from the window of the car and the unit fell to the shifter on my vehicle and shattered the screen, knowing it was not warrantable, I called Tom Tom for repairs. Guess what they do not repair the units at ALL!! and if you take it to an unauthorized repairer your warranty will be voided.
I am now left with a $500 ordament, it is a pretty sad state of affairs when a manufacturer of a product doesn't repair its products or have a authorized repairer who can fix them. $500 dollars is a lot of money for the average joe
Please just be aware of this when you think you want to buy a TomTom. read full review »

On Nov 21/08, when i didn't receive my ordered item which i ordered on or about Nov 03/08. i decided to track it on the company website. It seems that the company tried to deliver it on Nov05/08 and it was returned as "Receiver was unavailable". On Nov 20/08 i decided to check and found out that it was returned because the address was incorrect. I bought a Samsung TV from Sears in May 2008. It began failing to stay on in September. The TV is still in the 1 year manufacturer warranty period. I've been fighting with Samsung Customer Support (mainly their ECR - executive customer relations) to get it fixed or replaced. I bought a brand new Whirlpool hot water heater on 11/15/08 at Lowes. Thinking I was buying a reliable brand, I took it home and installed it. Everything was fine for about 2 minutes, then the flame went out and wouldn't relight. After trying for 5 hours to get it to light, I went to the local hardware store and bought another brand. I purchased a 3 year warranty on my Nikon Cool Pix 7600 Camera from Repair Tech. The company should rename themselves Rip-off Tech. The battry door clip broke (as many of them do come to find out) and I sent it to their 'authorised dealer' Precision Camera (no precision at tis company). Precision said the camera had "physical damage" which is not covered under the warranty as they say. The camera was not dropped or immersed in any fluid. I ordered an HP 8250 scanner and software. I told them I had an OS of Vista and they assured me it would work. I paid $240.00 on 10/16/2008. When I installed the scanner it did not work. I called them & e-mailed them they finally told me to return the unit and they would repay my cost.

Cut a long story short i rang 11 times and on the last time was informed be Adrian Ref :12152596 that it could have been fixed on the first phone call this in turn has cost me $70.95 in phone calls to you to fix problem. I purchased what I thought was supposed to be Open Office Suite 2009. There is no such product. They are saying that their Open Office 2009 does the same thing that other similar office programs does. Check out the real Open Office website where you download the real product for 60 days trail.I couldn't download the product.
Then if you want to keep it if you pay the $49.99.
They are also using the Advanced Telecom (with a 'D). I called Advanced Telecom and they gave me Advanc Telecom URL.

Purchased a Maytag front load washer from SEARS in July 2005. There was always mold forming in it and a swampy stench, but thirty six months later the computer board went due to the moisture. Sears informed me that the part would be $500.00 plus whatever other parts and labour.

I recently upgraded my video editing suite and found my 1 Gig of Ram on my 2 year old Dell computer insufficient to run it properly. So I shut down my system and took it to Best Buy to get 2 more gigs RAM installed. The Technician on duty got me in quickly and installed the Memory for me. I purchased a BLUE ANT X3 MIRCO BLACK and paid $99.99. I did not like the way it worked. After a lot of back and forth, they offered me, what they said was a comparable unit, a Motorola H670. I have now discovered that I could have purchased that model for around $30.oo most anywhere. I am embarrassed and angry that they mis-represented the replacement to me. I have not gone back to the store and don't want to. I am sure it will involve a confrontation that I am not interested in going through at this time. Can you be of assistance to me?
