This is classic example of customer getting into trap of Vendor-Dealer. We've bought Hitachi AC (RAVO24EMDZ1) from Srishti Electronics in Feb'07. I have been using the camcorder since then but not regularly only on occasions. Yesterday all on a sudden the lcd went blank. No display absolutely. I had a bad experience trying to bake a potato using the 1.6-cubic foot, NN-SN756B panasonic microwave. The surface of the potato was lightly perforated with a fork and placed on the microwave tray (what i mean to say is that I adhered by all the rules to bake a potato in a microwave). One of my friend has taken a chest CT scan from this center. It costs him RS 3000/-. After 3 weeks his doctor asked him to get a cd for the same scan. Just for writing the images into one cd receptionist in this scan center have asked RS 300/-. I really don't understand the concept behind this. Just for writing the images which was taken already, these people have asked RS 300/- . A CD will not cost you more than RS 50/- at the max. I have 2 whirpool air conditioners and 1 refrigerator. My experience with the company's products and esp their service has been so bad that I would never purchase any Whirlpool product again. The products started developing faults in the first year of purchase itself and have not stopped since! The customer service staff could not care less. It takes at least 10 different calls before the fault gets repaired - after a string of broken commitments and follow ups. I purchased an HDTV from Shop NBC in March. There were supposed to be rebate forms included with the delivery and no forms were shipped. I work part time for a charity and have been dealing with this company for 6 weeks now. They refuse to give a refund and have sent a replacement which is also faulty.
