I did a criminal check on someone I was going to hire. www.privateeye.com promises a lot, takes your money and gives you nothing. They show marvelous samples of the info you are going to receive. When the requested info comes up, there are "no details". I was charged $45.90 for "no records found" even though he man I was searching is on probabation and admitted it. This company is all about profits, no customer service values or healthy outlook towards pets. Today I used a manufacture coupon at my local Petsmart location and I was asked to pay the taxes on a free bag. I have never heard of or seen anything so tacky and in such poor taste in all of my life! This gave me a really low impression of Petsmart. This was just embarrassing! I purchased "Zodiac Flea and Tick for Cats" at a local store in my area and applied it to the back of my cat's neck as the directions stated. Shortly after, my cat of 14 years became ill. I took her to see a vet and spoke to additional vets by phone. All were in agreement that the medicine sold over the counter in stores, including Hartz, has been known to send pets into convulsions and possibly result in death. Sadly, my cat passed. I have read the complaints for banfield in different areas of the world. I am still not quite sure if this was my fault or not?... On a Sat. morning about 8am, my husband had discovered my cat had been poisoned when he found small drops of a white foamy substance outside of our porch. When he called for her she was foaming from the mouth in small amounts and convulsing every 3-4 seconds apart. I have filed 3 different claims with VPI Pet Insurance only to have all 3 of them denied because of exclusions in their policy. Read the fine print in their policy, there are A LOT of exclusions. Their customer service is worthless. When I called to complain about their lack of coverage, they offered no means to try and give me straight answers. Beware of Benfield Ladies. Do Not fall for the Wellness Plan (Scheme). Took my dog to this hospital to get nails trimmed. He has to be sedated for this so I had to leave him there for two hours. When I picked him up his right was bulging out of his head! I am outraged. Three years ago after losing our beautiful blue point Himalayan, Timugen, to PKD (polycystic kidney disease). We went looking for another kitten to keep Timugen's brother company. After more than one month I received a letter in reply in which the DJ outright lied about music he played and things that my husband never said to him. I have video tape of the whole wedding. We boarded our 5 month old puppy at Dog-tel Hotel located in Ocean City Maryland on July 21st and 22nd. When we came to pick up our puppy, her baby blanket was missing, a toy was missing, she had been given no treats we had sent and she had missed a meal. When we asked the staff what had happened, we were told that "they were busy. There were a lot of dogs there and that she got the same satisfactory treatment as the rest." I signed up with Matchmaker International about 2 years ago (2005) with a lifetime contract $3,000. I received about 6 referrals all of which were a joke. In 2005, I met with Ruth Moore to purchase gowns from her and be trained in how to open and run a bridal store. She said we could get every dress manufacturer from her and that she had a network of other stores she helped across the nation. She was located in Medford, MN and I was in Florida. She seemed legitimate until I could not get a hold of her or my gown orders. To this day I still of never heard from her. I know of several other girls that this happened to. This pet store advertises as a homebred breeder on the internet. They claim the puppies are homebred and supreme bloodlines and come with breeding rights, and health papers etc. We got a very sick puppy that almost died from the owner who claimed they were breeders and not a pet store. Beware of the many pet sellers and so called Kennels on this website. I have been researching this site, and the postings on it. I feel its safe to say that most of the kennels are puppy mills and puppy brokers. I have also found that this sellers can and do remove negative posting from a buyer. I ordered a bounce house from this company in early June, they took my money, charged my account and never delivered the product!!! They told me it was on backorder so when I tried to call the company as they had suggested I could never get through to an actual person. I sent voice mails, emails and no reply. Burying my husband on a Sunday. I made all the final arrangement for the service and picking out a coffin, where we were burying my husband. I was never told after 3 PM the price of the burial goes up to another $128.00. If you use your life insurance policy to pay for the funeral there is a service charge. Our staffy caine (our son) had a wonderful doctor in altamonte springs me and my husband jason moved to orlando and decided to go to banfield inside petsmart when we noticed he was favoring his foot. Our dog loved to tug on tree limbs and one of his nails got stagged and was ripped off. I have three children (1 disabled) Theresa Eckerd works at a pizza restaurant on Grand. She refuses to pay her child support (now owes over $4,500). Says she'd quit her job before she'd give those kids money. Hasn't seen them in 4 years. Theresa Eckerd also stole around $4,000 from Social Security saying she had the disabled child when she did not. Guess what? Social Security isn't doing anything about it. Purchased a bulldog pup at the end of 2006 from Jenny at Bulldog Alley. I requested all registration paper work and pedigree info, in the contract we signed. 7 months later still don't have it , and she will not return emails or phone calls. I have since purchased two other bulldogs , one from overseas and one from a U.S. breeder and already have all paperwork needed to register them with the A.K.C. Red Bank Vet group in Tinton Falls, NJ did not give me the estimate I asked for prior to spaying my dog. I asked for an estimate from the doctor that first saw her then I asked several staff people asking them to simply give me an estimate before spaying my dog.
