I spent yesterday, 5/3/10 / waiting for the installers to come and put in my carpeting. After many phone calls to the company they finally showed up and worked until 8:30 in the evening. I would never deal with them again in the future. The salesman was rude and hung up on me when I was explaining my complaint. The installers did a good job but much too late. Don't believe in their buy one room get one free. They Lie. I believe I was over-charged. This will never happen again. We ordered roll down blinds for the living at the beginning of April 2009. The "designer" came to measure for an additional 97 dollar fee our floor to ceilingwindows. We wanted four separate sections. She had only 3 measurements written down so when questioned she said it was fine she knew what she was doing. 6 weeks later the installer arrive and find that there are 3 sections instead of four. My 15 year old son keeps getting a collection call from TX energy on his cell phone. He has has this phone number for over 2 years. Purchased a Insinkerator hot water dispenser it began leaking after a year. Purchased another one with the three year warranty it also leaked after about a year with all the restrictions and rules of the warranty its like having no warranty at all. Eastland Construction built a home across the street from me, their employees used my white concrete driveway as a turn around with the end result being black tire marks all over it. I asked them to clean them off and they claim there is no proof that their people did it. I called Helpful Item and ordered an electronic range control (part #WB27T10265) for my GE oven. I provided my credit card details over the phone. When the part arrived, the rear circuit board of the main controller was badly cracked in the vicinity of the transformer and therefore non-functioning. It is possible that the damage occurred in manufacture when the board was being pressed into the plastic chassis. We built a new home 9 months ago. The last thing installed in our home was the hard wood flooring. We purchased 3/4 inch Hickory, tongue and groove from Corters Flooring America, State College, PA (manufactured by Clear Lake Lumber of PA). I too, tried to cancel my account with CastleRock only to be told that I had to finish my 3 years. When I tried to cancel after the 3 year period, I was told that it had automatically renewed.
