We were charged over $3000 for a new roof for our house in 2003, and our roof has still been leaking periodically for the past 6 years!! My gate was damaged by a Teco employee. I have a 6 foot privacy gate surrounding my home. It has lock on the door of the gate and the only way to gain entry inside my gate is to either cut this lock to open the gate, use the key to remove the lock to open the gate or to just jump the fence entirely. Well needless to say they chose to jump the fence I am assuming as now mt gas is turned on the the gate is now broken. What a nightmare! I gave Pacific Home Remodeling my name and number to receive some further product information, while at a show. For months I have received phone calls. I am now being harassed by their sales team several times a day for the past 2 weeks. I have gone as far as to speak to several different managers asking them to remove me from their list. My husband and I joined the Directbuy club of Merryville IN in Oct. of 2008 witch was over $3000. Shortly after doing this we ordered around $7000 or more in furnishings and appliances for our home in Florida having them delivered to Sarasota.
The last of the order was due in December. Every thing came early except for the four Riverside pieces.

I purchased a La-Z-y Boy Spa from Costco Canada. What a nightmare. Costco has been great though they are standing behind the warranty that came with the hot tub to pick up the lack of customer service lazy boy and tatum provide. Meantime La-Z-y boy and Tatum Manufacturing who both manufactured the tubs are leaving there customers high and dry. On Jan, 21, 2009 I took my 74 yr old neighbor to Jason's as she wanted to buy 3 rooms of furniture. She spent $4, 100.oo paid by credit card and was told she would receive furniture in about 2 weeks.
On Feb, 17th, I called and spoke to the Manager and she stated they would deliver on the 24th. No furniture, I called they stated on the 29th they would deliver. South Central Power Company- Ohio has been over changing me for power for 4 years now. I have had them out time and time again. Every time, it's the same story, no problem with the meters. You must be using ele heat. I hired out side companies to find the problem, no problem on my end, in fact they have stated, no way I could ever use that much power. ordered 2 kitchen counter stools in March. Never got by there est arrival date. called and they told me they were delivered to my house and sat in front of the garage doors. Told her they were not, 5 reps later they found out they were delivered to NY not PA. They called the company and another set was to be sent out the next day and they would email me with the tracking # and still nothing. We ordered a carpet from BOS on 1-31-06 and was promised it would be installed on 2-10-06 around 9 AM. I called several times throughout the day and was told the installation would be later and later until finally at 4 PM I was told that they could not install the carpet today or any day until at least 2-15-06 (which I could not be home for). Now my home office has no furniture or carpet and all of my computer equipment is buried in the dining room along with all of the furniture from my office. This impacts my ability to work.

This company charged my elderly mother $932.28 to install a 40 gallon water heater. The owner of this local franchise was rude and could not offer a reasonable explaination why my mother was not given the standard 1 year warranty on labor and agreed to sent it my mom immediately. We have YET to see it. She also stated that the plumber's rate is $100.00 per hour and the helpers rate is $ 35.00

Arturo Torres failed to complete the job on a multi-thousand dollar project. He had bid a second property for us and when he learned he didn't get the job he left the first property and didn't finish. Walked away with all of our money (over 18k). He was upset so he put a lien on our property on another client's property knowing full well we can't transfer the title with the lien. Sub Zero has gives exclusive contracts for warranty repair. Our Sub Zero refrigerator required service, parts were covered under warranty, but labor was not covered. We were charged $698 labor for two hours and six minutes labor. This works out to $335 per hour. We paid in advance for a kids bunk bed. We have been lied to. They still haven't delivered the bed. When they didn't deliver it in the time frame they said they would 4-6 weeks they wouldn't give us a time as to when the bed would be delivered. I am posting because of a problem with our GE Adora dryer. We purchased our washer/dryer in January 2006. In the first year our dryer destroyed a hand crafted afghan made by someone close to us. The problem was that it was getting caught in the light directly above the door of the dryer. It has shredded and put grease marks on the priceless afghan. I had the roof installed late December 2007, and gutters are falling off. This past winter was a nightmare. Unknown to me that they had gone out of business. No contact information. I am stuck with paying back a $5, 000.00 loan which was finance through them with some home improvement finance company they recommended. Finance company don't care about them being out of business- just want the payments.

I’ve not only had a very bad experience but an expensive one with Coker Flooring Co (since 1946). I spent $10, 000 on real hardwood flooring just 4 years ago from the location in Rockwall, Tx. I started having black spots show up in the wood. I spent another $1000 on plumbers to find out that my foundation is fine. Coker Flooring neglected to lay a moisture barrier between the slab and the flooring so condensation is building up and rotting the wood. They said they would send out the correct one, which they did, and charge my credit card another $640, which they did. I requested an estimate for a re-roof from Burr Roofing Co in Darien CT. A manager was sent to my home who looked over my roof (a relatively uncomplicated cape style), and said he would return to take detailed measurements. He never returned, and my phone calls and emails to the company are never returned. I would hate to think of the problem I might have had this company done the job, and I had a problem with leaks. I am so very unhappy about the poor quality of the GE Monogram Stainless Steel Cooktop. Even Plain Tomato Sauce will stain it? I must scrub it after each use or it stains? The Black Grills are so pooly painted that a pot moved on them will also scratch the Black off? I've never had such poor quality at such a high price. Never again will I trust GE with my purchases.
