i brought a honeywell humidifier last year it had 2years warranty, , when i used it this winter i see a leak from the bottom of the unit, , i called the customer service and was asked to send the unit to them and that it would take 6 weeks to process, , i spend 10$+ in postage to send the item on nov 5 2008. Worst customer service EVER! They are just a shadow company and at the mercy of Reliant to do ANYTHING. I protested the horrendous billing post-Ike and received empty promises from Green Mountain. Suddenly I am in collections and have had NO communications from GM. I am going back to RELIANT who can actually DO something as simple as checking my meter for errors. I bought the iDrive because it offered a quick and simple approach to mounting a garage door opener. The design seemed ingenious...and it really is...but their implementation of the motor/gearbox is less than robust. In just under a year, I've burned up two motors (under warranty) and 3 months ago they sent me a whole new unit under warranty and just today it burned up again. I too believed Art Krull and HSN that the Ultrex brand was quality merchandise. I bought numerous cookware sets because of the warranty. Needless to say, they are all flaking off black coating. Insane how bad this company is. I bought a couch and leather ottoman from Boston Interiors(no problem with the furniture) but I bought the warranty for the ottoman b/c I figured that things happen to leather and people would have their feet on it all the time. I purchase a new mattess due to a back injury in 2000 and paid 1300 for the mattess which was supposted to be a top of the line Sealy mattress. Now this was purchased to help my back in which I had ruptued a disk and had two bulging disks the year before. Within 6 months I noticed a sag which continually got worse. Seven days after purchasing over $2500.00 worth of furniture, this company advertised a sale on the items I bought, but refused to give me the sale price because the furniture had already been delivered two days before the sale began. I called this contractor to repair a garage door. Upon receiving the bill, I questioned an item titled, "Service Call - $95." I asked what this was. Randy told me it was for a preliminary visit to ascertain what exactly needed to be done to repair the door. Upon my telling him this was unprofessional bill padding, Randy began to argue with me aggressively. He was terribly rude and disrespectful. A simple one-hour door repair grew to an inflated $300. We hired Texas Best Roofing to replace our roof. The original quote as aprox. $8600. After the roofer consulted with Texas Windstorm it was realized that we needed 30yr shingle instead of the 20yr shingles quoted. So the roofer raised the quote and we agreed to aprox. $9700. Then once the roof was nearing completion he returned with a supplemented amount to the sum of $3300 additional. I have not areed to that and paid the aprox. $9700. I sent in a letter 5 times according to their instructions and they kept rejecting it until the contract automatically renewed for a whole extra year. I am a employee of the City of Red Deer. During the month of November and some days in December the company named Safeguard Safety was working on a project at the waste treatment plant. They were working on some sort of aluminum posts on the major roofs which was supposed to stop people from falling. There was one worker who was the one in charge. He did the major installments.
