I signed up to be on their prefered contractor list for Bank work on repo's...Was told that they had many weeks/months of backlog due to economy. Many details were disclosed yet were not followed through on. I have left many, many messages for Noah Buckles the owner/manager...NO RESPONSE at all. If I call in the recep or front desk shuffles you around/ says salespeople are at lunch/etc/. If this isn't a scam, one heck of a terrible way to run a business. read full review »

Bought a recliner in October in November it was peeling the leather finish, similar to the way ford trucks peeled the paint in the 1980's do to bad primer. Had service guy out, he took pictures told me it was quaranteed a year, that it would be repaired or replaced, I would hear from JC Penny that night, after a week I notified Chase, Credit card, the card I made the purchase on. Still no heat. Dianne Park couldn't have said it any better. I think this is a ma/pa hookup, and shouldn't be in business for the type of service they provide. After reading these complaints, I am shocked that Sears has not recalled this range. The same exact issue happened to my family - our Kenmore oven coil started on fire after I turned the oven on to back some bread. The light was bright and white and the flame followed around the coil at the bottom of the oven. Luckily, I was the one this happened to...and not one of the kids. Sears makes another frequent shopper unhappy and I vow to never purchase anything from Sears again. It's sad when your reps can't even handle a complaint call. On June 16, 2008 I bought a magazine subscription from 2 girls selling magazines in order to win a trip. I paid $50 by Check for the subscription. It has been 6 months and I have never received any magazines. I have called the so-called company and I get a recording that states all representatives are busy and to leave my name, address, phone number, email address, and receipt number and someone will get back to me the following day. I wonder why I couldn't just stay on the line and wait for the next available representative? I lived in London On., signed a rate protection plan with UNIVERSAL ENERGY of 43 cent/kWh. After two months, another representative came and helped in lower the rate to 39 cents/kWh and signed a new contract with me. However, the Co. kept charging me in higher rate and refused to accept/fulfill new contract. We signed up for T&C foods and were told that the freezer was only 500.00. So I called and asked to just pay the freezer off and that’s when I was told that it was 3500.00 with the warranty and set up fees. Also our sales rep told us that our current freezer would not hold the amount of food that they were sending. Come to find out it would. I am extremely frustrated and upset with Conn's Service Departments customer service at 1-800-379-9809. I purchased a GE refrigerator (still under extended warranty) model GSH25JSRF SS. 5 year old Kenmore range oven has problems lighting, smells lioke gas and then lights with a loud boom. Has been happening for a year. Now all of a sudden it smells like something is burning inside the unit. I called Sears to have someone come out immediately as we are dealing with gas and electricity. They said some one could make it out in 4 days. When I told them that I was afraid that something was going to catch on fire - hge said to call the fire department. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER ITEM AT SEARS. They hav the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Purchases GE Profile Wahser year ago. Thougght I was upgrading by purchasing a Profile appliance. Mother Board went 1 year and 1 month after purchase. Had to fight to get somone out, then again to have charges waived and the mother board is covered (2-5 years). Tech installed new one after 2 week wait and proclaimed fixed and left. Purchased $3700 bedroom set. 4 pcs arrived, 3 were damaged one of the 3 made incorrectly from manufacturer with bubbling of the finish and peeling of the paint. Waited a week for service. Service fixed one pc two pcs needed replacement. I am still waiting on replacement for 2 pcs, it is week 3. Service has had 12 pcs of furniture looked at for possible delivery to replace what I have. The problem started in August 28, 2007 when I approved for a GE Money Bank credit card to purchase a Stearns and Foster Queen Plaza mattress from Sleepy's. A month and half later the mattress in the middle was sinking in, causing my back to hurt severely doing my pregnancy. My fiance' slept on it as well and it as well and his back began to hurt him. Had a new roof installed after hurricane Katrina. Shortly after I noticed a small leak develop in the dining room. Mr. Morgan came and attempted to fix the leak. I purchased a metal table with acid finish from Kolkka 4-5 years ago. This is an extremely high end manufacturer and we paid thousands for the table. Unfortunately, over the years, the table has become discolored where food/drink has come in contact with the acid finish. Obviously, the table is well out of any warrently period -- however, I have been very disappointed with Kolkka's customer service. Very unsatisfied with J&B HomeCrafters. Rarely were they seen on the home site(s) to regulate the most important details of the home construction process. Construction problems would often compound. Very little concern for quality standards from subcontractors. They did not totally fulfill contractional agreements, VERY unorganized business practices. Called cust. service to see about the warranty and was advised that it was 10 years on the burners and they would replace then after I faxed them the reciept with a shippingcharge OF JUST $29.95 they would be on the way. Do not use this company! Unique Landscaping had nothing but excuses to offer after they tore up my lawn and planted bushes that promptly died. The contract I signed last September was for landscaping, rip up of front lawn and reseed, and a guarantee for one full year on all plants used. The lawn never got reseeded until November (well after season). I was left with nothing but dirt for two months. After 20 or more calls I finally got seed but what they used was all crab grass.
