In July '10 I had 9 windows installed by Sears using a contracted company called Arcor at a cost of $10431.45. I was assured these windows comply with the Gov't Energy Audit standards and was told I should get a rebate of 9x$40=$360. On 1/8/2011 I purchased an upscale Samsung Range Model FTQ353iWUX/XAA at hhgregg in Brandon, Fl. After noticing that the oven does not cook properly, I purchased a range Temp gauge. I found that when the range pre heat alarm rings, the oven is actually 75 degrees below the set temperature. It takes the range an additional 20 to 30 minutes to reach the set temperature which negatively effects the cook times. The result, if you look at the website www.badbadbuilder.com were windows installed incorrectly, doors installed incorrectly, warped walls and crooked roof, several leaks, tons of code violations, and the list goes on. Had tile installed on bathroom floor. After Some tiles became cracked and floor had soft spots. Called Mr.Handyman, they sent out a rep who gave an estimate of repairs of $3000.00 Insurance estimate was $2700.00 with $500. deductible. License plumber vcame out said toilet had not been replaced properly by Handyman. Wax ring was not properly re-installed, and toilet was not even bolted down. I know installer was not qualified because when he was done and you looked at the door, it was gapped on the top right side and didn't go up nor down smoothly. I have had problems from the day the unit was installed. (My plumber said I would hate it and he was soooo right) What a joke to call it the "quiet series" when it sounds like a rocket launch from start to finish. Dishes mostly come out more dirty than when they were put in...a salt looking deposit left behind. The racks are rusting out and the door latch broke. It is less than 5 years old and I will need to replace as nothing is on warranty. Approximately two years ago, I paid over $2, 700 for a queen size mattress and box springs set of Simmons Beautyrest, in the "top of the line" Black model. In a nutshell, we paid to have two seedings, an aeration and fertilizer treatmeant done. They never did the seedings, although they claimed to have done it - they fertilized ouor yard when our leaves had fallen, on a bunch of dead leaves, they never returned our phone calls, they told me that the person who sold us the contract was "just the sales guy" which is hysterical...since he is SELLING THEIR PRODUCT. I did some searching and found unpaid workers back to last august, which means he knew when he hired me that he could not pay, he's just been stringing a bunch of people along. Our two Contour Adjustable Beds were delivered, on 3/12/2011, set up and demonstrated. A short time later I raised the bed to put the bottom sheet on. Approximately May 2009, I had damage to my roof from a storm. I contracted Storm Damage Specialists to repair my roof. I gave them approximately 2, 300 dollars to begin work. To this date, March 2011, they have done nothing. I asked for my money back and Jim Kennedy said he didn't have the money and would have to make payments.
