This company is so deceptive in it marketing with a hospitalization policy so deficent that I cannot understand why the regulators that be would allow them to do business. I order 2 trail products and received additional products not even ordered. My credit card was charged twice for the exact same products not ordered for a total of 99.70. I took 2 items in to be altered When I went to pick them up, this place only takes CASH! But they don't tell you that (and don't have a sign posted or that info on your claim ticket) until you pick up the item up. I had to go back a second time-waste of gas. On 03/17/2006, I prepaid 3828.00 towards a 10, 360.00 implant bill. I spoke with a friend of a friend who advised me that I should go to a reputable dentist and not Vitaldent. I really didn't understand why, but in any case, of the 3828.00 paid to them, they provided only 1240.00 worth of services before I decided to find another dentist specializing in implants. I put a wedding ring on Layaway for my girlfriend to propose in Puerto Rico. I went to pay off the rest of the ring the week before we left and they informed me that I would be recieving a refund check for the ring and the ring was sent back to Corporate Headquarters. This company offers a free trial for 12.95 they ship the product and tell you that you can cancel at anytime, it is not true. They continue to charge your account even after you contact them to cancel. I had to cancel my credit card and order a new one just to stop their activity. They will not give you a written confirmation of cancellation and their replies are basically unintelligible. One email from a customer rep says "u was charged". I brought my grandson's new suit to Peter's for the pants to be let out two inches. Instead of letting it out, they took it in two inches and cut the fabric inside. When I brought it to their attention because it was written on the ticket that it was to be let out two inches, they asked if I would give the seamstress a chance to fix it. Attempting to fix it, they completely ruined the pants to a $300 suit. They charged thousand of dollars to cut me up leaving horrible scars behing my ears. Thank god they are not that visible. Nonetheless, the results were none. Their refund policy is obscured from the selection process to finalizing the credit card sale. Only in the subsequent email confirmation following the sale do they reveal that all sales merchandise is non-returnable. According to those in the know, the seller must disclose the policy before the sale is finalized - and I don't think sending a subsequent email does the trick. Its disappointing to know that good customer service is rare...I have tolerated shoddy service from our KFC Malvern branch i.e. in KZN. The person answering said the only way was to send a letter by Certified Letter to the new owner in Webster, TX. I called back and got the same response from the next customer service person.
