I was charged for dental services in the amount of $2719, before services were rendered. I canceled the service contract on 1/10/08, however the dentist refused to cancel the services and waited some three weeks before they refunded a portion of the monies charged. I bought a sweater for my daughter and she did not like it, I went to return it and they said all they could do is an in store credit. I wanted a refund because I do not shop in that store and they said look at your receipt. My receipt says Reg Price-Refund, sale-exchange w/15 days. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. DO NOT EVERY sign up with them. My complaint is with Todays Options Advantage Plan. (Pyramid Life Insurance Company). I have not been a member of their plan since Aug. 1st of 2007. Ordered on 1/2/08. Was given bogus tracking info. As of 2/12/08 still no product. Telephone and online chat "service dept" are offshore and it shows. In one single conversation (I have written proof) they said the order would be here in 5 days, then a few sentences later says, the order was canceled, then again, the order should be here in 5 days - this time offering a tracking number. I made an application for Term Life Insurance and after a very long period I was denied. I received a letter from the company telling my application had been denied on February 1st and on February 6th $616.00 was withdrawn from my checking account. That price is escalated to a higher price reflected in the subtotal and then sales tax is applied to already taxed items, thereby double taxing customers. In November of 2008 I was forced to cancel my gym membership due to the fact I was laid off from my job. Both my son and I had memberships which they automatically debited from my bank account every month. I have also just read that the 'company' doesn't have seller or buyer protection policy through pay pal, not surprisingly.
