Barry's Bootcamp includes a free trial period for 'VIP' web access. Although I cancelled within the trail period, they continued to charge the quarterly fee. The cancellation was completed through their website but their customer service representative insists they can't access the information. This is one of those situations where they run you in circles trying to stop the charges and you're left trying to prove that a service you didn't want in the first place was cancelled. I called Verizon 5 times trying to get internet service for my apartment. The first and second time I was put on hold and after 20 minutes disconnected. The third time I was told, that my apartment has to be build into Verizon’s listing, because the address is brand new. The rep. wanted to call me back the next morning to set up a new account. Please BEWARE of this company. Not only were the floor installations botched and butchered, they were then ruined with irremovable glue/adhesive stains everywhere by these incompetents. In addition they damaged the new paint in every room of my condo, broke closet doors, and got paint, glue/adhesive in all my sinks and bathtubs that took days to try and clean. I have been working with br111 claims department for more than a year and I have the e-mail documentation to prove it. My floor is breaking apart and all the stair nosing is splitting or totally broken on two stair cases. I was shopping online at CJ Banks putting shirts for the holidays in my shopping cart. When I was ready to check out, the prices changed. A shirt that was clearance for around $6 changed to $60. I called customer service to see what was wrong with the website. I was told that there was a computer problem and that the prices that were listed and in my shopping cart originally would not be honored because of this computer glitch. Had my ps3 repaired by wired extreme in may 2010 payed extra for faster service and bought the warrenty they offered 5 mths later ps3 broke again, took it in for warrenty repair before thanksgiving and told it would be ready two weeks after thanksgiving. Wasnt ready when promised said be another week dec 17 called dec 17 still not been worked on be almost another week didnt care about the lenght of time it was taking offered no solution to the sitution just didnt care had my warrenty money already and wasnt going to do anything to resolve this issue. I have bought several RC Airplane products from Horizon Hobby. It use to be a place that give great "customer service after the sale"...however...this has changed. Due to an incompetent shipping department, my account has been debited for $193.49 for a plane that I told them to cancel the order...because THEY SAID...they could not deliver it. I only canceled the order because they said the could not deliver it to the address I requested. This is a nightmare of a company to deal with. I have personal experience of buying a 12' tree from Balsam Hill at a cost of around $2000. The biggest mistake I made last year. Once you have bought your Christmas tree from them it all goes downhill from then on. Lights burn out and whole sections stop working. They have very little technical support and customer service is there just to blow you out. That's if you are lucky enough to speak to anyone. I purchased a Mosquito Magnet Pro in 2003 for $1, 200 with a two year warranty. First, when it does work, it does a terrific job in catching mosquitoes. However, it constantly breaks down, and you must wait weeks for replacements and those waits eat into your warranty period. Don't buy a support contract from Frys. I live in Plano Texas and have had the worst experience of my life relative to support and service from a retailer. Seven service tickets in less then a year and they use every excuse and loophole to avoid taking responsibility. The most extreme example I have every had of incompetence and lack of concern. As far as escalating to someone with brains, forget about that too. They are so well organized to divert complaints that you are constantly directed back to a lower level manager that lacks the foresight or authority to make a decision. You will buy license, then they will update ''version" and ofcourse new version are not compatible with old one(s) and you have to buy new licences. Be carefull with this company, they cheat as much they can. Its coming 2-3 new version per year or something, good for TeamViewer bad for customer. The sales people promised quality prime meat, 2 1/2 lbs of meat for 5+ days a week for 6 months, chicken, steak, fish, pork, chop meat. The fish fillets have many bones and taste and smell lousy, the beef is not prime, it is poor quality, not prime, they filled the entire freezer with mostly chicken and chop meat. They try to pressure you into a LOAN, if you refuse they make a phone call to their "boss" and suddenly accept a credit card!
