My partner received a cold phone call from Excite Mobile (aka Telco in a Box) offering her a new phone and entry into a draw for a weekend hotel break. Well, a couple of weeks ago i purchased a small HPS Grow light from this company. I recieved the light in a weeks time. We have lived at our home for exactly one year. On 8/29 I go get the mail and am suprised to find 2 water bills in our box. One is addressed to us, one is adressed to another couple with our mailing address. Our bill says credit balance do not pay. This company has very misleading adds. They promise a free trial for shipping charges only, then automatically charge for the product- including the "free" trial on the credit card. They use the information given to pay for the shhipping and then add automatic payment to your credit card. Shawn Gilbert is a web designer who has decided to replace all these boards removing our advertisements, and replace them with plastic cases, and offers ad space for $20+ per month. Several years ago, we purchased a set of 4 Bilstein shocks (with lifetime warrantee) from McKenzie’s Performance Products, a shop specializing in off road parts and equipment. The salesman said should they ever fail, return them for replacement. The 2 front shocks failed. We went to McKenzie’s, and the manager refused to honor the warrantee. He said they do not do warrantees. So we contacted Bilstein directly. They immediately sent out 2 new shocks.
