Verizon in souther Maryland sent a technician to my home, WITHOUT my request or knowledge, and "forced" my home phone line to FIOS!!! I'm absolutely floored and can't believe the audacity of this major corporation. I purpose to write every entity that oversee corporations and complain until something changes. I spoke to twelve different representatives and got twelve different answers. This switch happened while I was at work and caused me to not have a dial tone on my home phone for over a week. Wanna get out of paying your late payment reminder bill from Telus Mobility for its wireless stick and maybe other Telus Mobility services as well? The late payment reminder bill states quote, "charges billed on this statement will be deemed correct if not disputed by you within thirty (30) days of the bill date. I am more than furious at Telus's remark saying they do not refund equipment purchased from other shops! CCTS said that this is Telus response to my complaint about Telus Mobility wireless stick and the old ADSL modem I now have as a antiquated reminder just to piss me off everytime I look at it sitting there being useless. Placed order for $1949.00 outdoor grill on 6/27/10 using Paypal. Since the amount was large paypal attempted to confirm sale by calling me but my number was in the process to being transferred to my new home so Paypal denied the charge. I bought a cell phone from best buy. The manufacturer is motorola. After three months of owning the phone the speaker stopped working. I tried returning the phone to best buy. The carrier is boost mobile and they don't do exchanges and because the carrier is boost best buy couldn't exchange the phone. So the best buy associate called motorola. I called Ronco company customer service line today regarding miracle blade III knife handle had broke loose in addition to the on the scissors in the set. Ronco's 100% lifetime warrant required me to pay shipping, handling and TAX!!!, which ended up being 20% of what I had originally paid for the entire set of knives. They were rude and unwavering. I purchased a new 3 stream Brita faucet mount filter less than 3 months ago. I previously used Pur water filters, but decided to give Brita a try. I wish we'd stayed with Pur. The electronic indicator light failed. I changed the filter, thinking that was the problem. Still no indicator light. After emailing Brita, I received a response telling me to do what I'd already done (change the filter). The email went on to tell me if that didn't work, I needed to buy a new unit!! On the above date, my husband and I went to the NC Aquarium at Roanoke Island, NC. We were approached by a man who took our photographs. I was told to go to the kiosk before leaving to view the photos and perhaps purchase them. I did and purchased some of the photos on CD. This company was informed of a huge wasp nest located at least 30 feet up in a roof eave. They came out, sprayed the nest and left a note that they didn't have a ladder tall enough to knock down the nest but they did kill the wasps. When I called them to remove the entire nest as agreed upon in the original call, they said it would be an additional cost because of the height and location of nest. I ended up scraping the nest off myself. This is a classic example of bait and switch. They charged me full price, and left me to get rid of the nest. This company grossly overcharged for an airconditioner repair. The part cost $155.00 and the repair took less than one half hour. I know that one hour is the minimum charge, but really? Do they charge $311.00 for an hour of labor? Their total bill was $466.00 They advertise themselves as Senior Service - On A Budget and they are misrepresenting themselves. I have subscribed to 12 Mbps MediaCom Online services and I never get an internet speed above 5-6 Mbps.. most of the times its less than 3 Mbps. He would continuously email you on getting his system for free, then once you join he would offer a lot of deals for amounts of money that would increase the more you buy. Till you end up paying $300-$500, when you wouldn't buy one of his winning ways, he would intimidate you by saying he would keep the money you spent, instead of refunding which was in black and white before you entered his program! Please avoid this company at all costs. They are a bunch of con artists. I signed up to work for them a couple of months ago as a Chatline Operator, they promised me loads of calls, hardly got any. Come pay date they refused to pay me my earnings.
