I hired U.S. Moving to move our household goods on two occasions. The first time it went off without a hitch. The second time we discovered all kinds of damage to our brand new bedroom set after the move. When we tried to get a hold of them they did not answer their phones or call back. We hired this company to clean all the air ducts, returns, fans in the bathrooms, dryer return, and furnace. My girlfriend and I Contracted MTF Relocation to move our belongings from CA to TX. We agreed on a total moving price of $901. At the time of pick up, we paid 70%, which was $631. My husband and I bought wood for our floors. We were talked out of the Bamboo flooring we had chosen. We were told that the floor they recommended was much harder and would not dent. In Oct. 2004, I bought a Sears 5 h.p. 22" Snowthrower (made by MTD) and found one flat tire in 2006. Sears replaced the tire under warranty. Then in 2009, both tires gone flat. My number is on all "do not call" lists. I received an automated call at dinner time which I could either ignore by hanging up or leave my name and number for a call back from a representative. I left my name and number so I could find out the name of the company without getting hung up on as they usually do. A woman named Carolyn or Caroline returned the call.
