We purchased a website and one year worth hosting from HIT. This has now been a year and a half and it has been nothing but a complete disaster. I signed on for a free trial with Blue Mountain [BM] (an online greeting card company) - when I attempted to cancel the trial within the allotted time, I could not access my account & a message came up that I was not in the database - I write down every password that I use & know that the correct information was provided to BM - BUT MY BANK ACCOUNT WAS CHARGED $29.99! 7/03/09 - We contracted Glidden Interiors (family owned business) from Auburndale to install crown molding and wainscoting. The carpentry was outstanding, but they will not finish the job to our satisfaction. The wainscoting and crown molding required caulking and paint which was missed in areas. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM!! We purchased a sink from Circle City Copperworks recently, and upon arrival, the sink was in very poor shape at best. Simple welding, distortion to overall copper shape of sink, and major bubbling at inner rim, rending it useless for future cleaning. Our football officials organization has been a customer of yours for over 10years. Our "webmaster" has come down with cancer and is no longer able to handle the website and make rational decisions. My law firm ordered legal sized folders from Printglobe. We did not get a legal sized envelope proof so we had no idea how they would look. Inevitably, we received a big box of folders that looked awful, the print was wrong and so I sent the folders back for a re-print. Printglobe refused to acknowledge our frustration and billed our credit card $1, 575.00 plus shipping. Now, I am out $1, 575 plus folders! Recently I took the plunge and "invested" in a nice pair of sunglasses. Purchased a pair RayBan RB3320s aviators for $130.00 on June 06th. I purchased a weather radio which was defective. I sent it back to the manufacturer and, after several replacements, I received one which, I thought, worked. The trouble was that I didn't want the radio to alert me all the time, but I couldn't turn the alert feature off. When I called the company and followed their instructions it still didn't work. I was finally told that I had to send the unit back and since it was out of waranty it would cost me $15 to fix the problem. This company has the most unethical and abusive practices I have ever seen. They sent Carlos to my home 3 weeks ago to repair a leak coming from the rear of the refrigerator. He used a tube from his vehicle supplies and replaced the tube I had. I have been using Choice Cleaning Services since 2005, shortly after moving into my newly built home. Their unique selling point to me was the fact that they clean customers windows using the latest methods ie not having to climb ladders by using long poles with a brush on the end to clean the upper windows. To get a contract with 3G in June of 2008 I was asked by 3G's credit department to leave a deposit of £150 which would be returned in 6 months. In December of last year I went to Carphone Wharehouse in Bradford as I was initially informed that they would sort it out for me. Vibco's engineers up-sold me to a much larger product than I needed. Their salesmen then agreed to EXCHANGE the too-large one for smaller one. They gave me an RMA and acknowledged receipt of the too-large one in sound condition. I had Sears coming out to clean 7 areas and was quoted $169. The living area was very dirty from foot traffic, food or drink spills, and some urine spots from some small dogs. There was also a small number of small spots in two of the three bedrooms. The cleaners came out, looked at the job and called me (I was at work) to tell me they could not do a regular cleaning due to the high number of urine spots in all the bedrooms and living/dining rooms. The island St Barths, is part of the European union and therefore they should abide by European distance selling regulations and refund my money; which they have refused to do. As annual members of Cheltenham Racecourse my wife and I pay an inclusive fee for all days of racing. We understand that when an occasional day is cancelled, we receive no refund on this payment. For Saturday 13th December we paid an extra fee of £7.50 each for access to the main stand and adjoining bar and lounge. The racing was cancelled and the racecourse is now refusing to refund the £15 paid. They quote their "Terms and Conditions" indicating that no refund will be made. I have purchased Nokia N 70 Music edition 1 year ago after confirming that it is a 3G phone, but now MTNL started the 3G services in Delhi and it is not supported by Nokia N70.
