Tumi
Liza July 2, 2009
I bought a Tumi backpack based on the lifetime warranty claim. At the time I bought it, they offered lifetime. But now they want to charge $125 for repair open seams by the zipper and strap, and between internal compartment! While I called, they said "we don't offer lifetime warranty, we only offer lifetime service, for a fee". The service and support is not a good match for their price! If this is the way they treat loyal customer, I am not going to stay with them, and would not suggest anyone to buy a Tumi. read full review »

Battlefield Ford
Ed July 2, 2009
I own an F250 which is having a turbo problem. The vehicle has 97, 000 miles on it and the motor has a 100, 000 mile warranty - so time is of the essence in getting this repaired under the warranty. I went to Battlefield Ford and was told that they refuse to work on my vehicle. Ford said that all dealerships are independent and can refuse service to anyone they want to. Mr. Gary Faye - the manager of the dealership made this decision to refuse service to me. IN the past I have had problems based upon their dishonesty in previous dealings with... read full review »

We ordered a used Crown RC30 forklift which Scott said had 1614 hours on the hour meter. I then called to get the forklift serial number, and the Crown dealer said the lift has 9603 hours on it a week before when it was in for service. Somehow, the hour meter changed from 9603 to 1614 hours in a week. I called Scott and tried to cancel the order, but they would not refund my $500.00 deposit, and denied the hour meter fraud. Scott then said he held the forklift in question for me because of our $500.00 deposit, and because they could not sell it while it was being held, they would take my money and not refund it. read full review »

We used them for our last move. The lies started with their salesman that came to our home. And the lies did not stop there. DO NOT SIGN anything with these people before checking out all the fine print and asking what their terminology means. What is (to you) just an estimated quote - to them becomes a binding contract. And if the sales person tells you you are only responsible for the weight section unless they pack you---this is NOT TRUE. They have lied to us through the whole process. They are very hard to get to return calls once they have delivered your furniture. Please warn everyone you know who is getting estimates for moving. read full review »

Cleartel Connunications
Jack July 2, 2009
I cancelled my service on May 6, 2009. I RELUCTANTLY accepted the fact that Cleartel does NOT pro-rate service, so I would still have to pay for the balance of May. Interestingly -- OTHER phone carriers only bill you for the period you use their services. I had been making my payments via electronic funds transfer -- but having cancelled the service on MAY 6, advised them that I would send a CHECK for the final payment. Well lo and behold, when JUNE 6 came, they took the payment from my checking account. Meanwhile -- I sent a check for... read full review »

U-Verse
Simon July 2, 2009
Do not waste your time with ATT U-verse if you move into Broadstone Apartments in Fort Worth TX. The apartments are all hard wired for the service but all of the geniuses in customer service can not put your address in the system. Myself and several other residents have been attempting to get service for several weeks to months. Don't be fooled by the U-Verse pre-wiring in the closet save yourself days of aggravation and time by just going with direct tv or dish network. I promise in the end you will feel better going this route. Oh and by the way I was told by AT&T 911 is not even available real safe. read full review »

FlavorWave
Nancy July 2, 2009
My 92 year old mother ordered a FlavorWave oven from Thane after seeing their infomercial. She received the oven but did not receive the $59.85 Flavor Wave Chef's Kit that she ordered with it. They charged her an outrageous $39.90 for shipping also. I called Thane on her behalf and they said that they packed the chef's kit with the oven. They did not. I checked all the packaging and it was not there. They said that she would have to pursue a claim with the post office. They slyly billed her credit card for $69 and some change only... read full review »

Vortech
Amanda July 2, 2009
I have a serious complaint on the two salesmen from Vortech Vacuums. On July 19, 2007, a vacuum salesman came to our door about 7:30pm. I was in the bedroom not feeling well. I heard talking and went to see who was here. My husband said this salesman, Charlie, asked to demo this vacuum and I told him I wasn't buying one. I went back to the bedroom. About 30 minutes later, I went out to see why the salesman was still here. Charile asked if I would sit in on the demo as he would get more points, I told him I was not feeling well so I... read full review »

4nocash.com
Bob July 2, 2009
Hello, a few months ago I joined a points-based DIY site, 4nocash.com. I tested it out by joining a trial offer through them, and they sent a small gift card. I then did a couple bigger offers, and requested a $100 gift card through their site. I didn't recieve it after 2 months, so I e-mailed them to ask the status. 3 e-mails later, no reply and my account login doesn't work. I can't find any address or phone #, and they don't respond to my e-mails. I'm not too upset about it, you win some you lose some, but this one is a "lose some" site. read full review »

3500 weekly

There is a lady out there ready to scam anyone willing to shell out 25 bucks. She offers to build you a monthly income from google adsense. Be sensible enough not to get scammed, since you will be making pennies for first two months and then nothing happens with your earnings. I wonder why people put up scam sites like 3500 weekly. Let me explain. The site offers to add contentes and create a site for you if you host with hostgator. Beware... there is nobody out there to promote a site for you for $25, which will earn you two figures from google adsense, if you know the current situation in adsense. read full review »

If you ever feel like pulling out infomration on your previous college pals do not try alumnisearchnet.com. What they do is tell you that unlike any other similar sites, you can join for free and then when you find who you're looking for the site will not show you the info found until you subscribe and pay. So I tried a serious of meaningless characters in first, last and school name fields and guess what! My search according to them had matches but I had to pay to see the results! Of course we would all love to find some real work at home jobs that are legitimate. Unfortunately, other than survey work, there doesn't seem to be much out there in the internet.
