MicroWarehouse, Inc.
Typical bait and switch. I just got their catalog in the mail TODAY and they had an item I wanted I checked the web site and it was priced higher. So I called and its is at the higher price. Would not give me the advertised price. THEN wanted $12 shipping on a $13 product. read full review »
Microtime -Ohio-
A few years ago, I bought from this company solely on price alone- I was trying to save a buck. In the end, I ended up spending far more and the hassle wasn't worth it. The system arrived over a week late, and it didn't include the free software bundle I was promised. I was told that I didn't get it even though my original salesperson told me I would. I even spoke to the owner and he, very rudely, refused. The system had a bad motherboard out of the box (it would not hold the time/date), but I didn't report it within 2... read full review »

Total crap. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CHEATS! There is no way that they are a real company. No phone service, no e-mail service. My order is a week late and still not been dispatched. They've had my payment and the order page still says it hasn't been paid for. If you have money to waste to give to these cheating bastards then use them, if you don't want your money to be stolen then don't! If you're in the UK then use ebuyer.com or overclockers.co.uk instead. I've been in contact with Trading Standards over this will be taking legal action against them, if they exist. read full review »
MicroShack
Seeing as how company went belly-up and its owners have disappeared off the face of the planet I guess this is a little late but anyways:
I ordered an Athlon 700 computer from Microshack in time to have it delivered via UPS Ground before i moved to College.
They delayed several days on processing the order so it became apparent I had to get it done overnight. I spent 2+ hrs getting overnight shipping upgrade, (note: they offered me a slight pricebreak on the upgrade because of the delay) but they still delayed. i moved away and the... read full review »
Micro-Direct
These people are complete crooks, I will never deal with them again. I bought an SN25P system from them because if supported RAID, but it never worked properly. I returned it for another one which had the same flaw. Clearly the product had a design flaw. I requested a refund but they wouldnt' give me one. After weeks of chasing they sent me another SN25P which I did not want and they refused to take it back. Stay away at all costs. read full review »
Micro Trends
I would rate them much better except for the fact that when I tried to return a bad motherboard (Tyan 1590), I couldn't get anyone to respond to my emails or phone calls! I sent one email stating the problem and any troubleshooting I'd done so far. They responded the next day saying I should check the power supply. Well, I had done that as I had two motherboards and two power supplies on hand. I mailed them this information back and heard nothing. I sent 3 or 4 more polite emails and called several times and left messages for tech... read full review »

So, please if you will, stop bashing a company for thing... read full review »

Bought a few things from these guys...i was a satisfied customer when i purchased a abit kt7-raid motherboard from them last october (2000), but my recent purchases from them have been very disenheartening, as in june (2001) I purchased a 1.33ghz cpu from them (which died, and when i RMA'd it they sent it back w/ a chip in the corner...as in, a piece of the cpu was chipped, but it had not been chipped when i sent it), and i also bought an abit kt7a-raid motherboard from them which never worked, and when i tried to send it back they said... read full review »

This is the worst place to by a computer. Do not do it they are the worst people to deal with when you finally get you computer. when I received mine the motherboard did not work the sound card did not work and the ethernet card was faulty. When I spoke to the non-english speaking tech support named Joey he was rude and did not know anything about computers This company has about 7 different names so if you check with the better business buerau the first one might not show up be they are listed as a unsatisfactory company. read full review »

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAUGE! Ordered 2 modules of Samsung PC2700 DDR SDram from them. The modules came in two weeks time, which i was suprised at after reading the ratings here. The RAM did NOT work at all. No refund or anything. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! read full review »
MemoryDepot.biz
I had a bad experience with this company. I paid extra for overnight delivery. It arrived a day late. I made peace with that. One of the modules they sent was not what I ordered. Tech Support wrote me back promptly and said that there must have been a mistake in the warehouse and that if I wanted to return it, to contact them and they would commence the return procedure. I've sent them at least four messages (to various departments) in the last 3 weeks, and no one has had the courtesy to respond. They don't care much for their customers. read full review »
Memory To Go
Very unprofessional and rude sales staff. Ordered on the 14th and received a tracking number on the 15th, however the tracking number only says "Billing Information Received" as of the 19th with no information on where my order is. Bad company, order somewhere else. read full review »
Memory Shippers
February 15 I ordered two 32MB modules of computer memory from online reseller MemoryShippers. The memory was described as made by Micron (Micron is famous maker of computer component). Name of manufacturer was main part of my decision to buy this memory from MemoryShippers.
Advertisement on this company website also stated: “All sold from Memory Shippers are Brand name and Brand new”
I paid $123 ($55 per module plus $13 for shipping) and in the 3 days FedEx delivered the package. Unfortunately, inside instead of Micron wa... read full review »

Memory Man
Our large company orders large quantities of its memory from Memory Man. I was looking for a 256Meg SODIMM for my personal Compaq Armada M700 650Mhz so I gave them a call. I had found an exact part from a reputable ebay dealer for $56.00 + SH so I knew the basic price range of these. I was asked to talk to the specific person by our IT professional - the one they work with. I will call them Salesperson X for the purpose of this review. After explaining what laptop equipment I had, X told me they could supply the 256Meg for $44 + $7 SH and if I... read full review »
American Eagle
I had an account with American Eagle Outfitters (GE Money Bank). The account became past due because I was out of work for 5 months. When I regained employment, I paid off the bill that had been turned over to a collection agency by the name of Encore. I had paid Encore in full.
Two months later, I received a letter stating that I owed them the full amount of the past due GE account. I stated over and over that I had paid them off. I even gave them the confirmation number. They told me that it wasn't enough that I would need to call... read full review »

Memory 4 Less
This is the worst store to do business with. I purchased a brand new keyboard for $100 from them. They sent me a used, beat up, filthy dirty, damaged, and DOA keyboard. Not only did I receive a damaged product, I had to keep calling them to get my product shipped. Finally made them promise to overnight it to me because they didn't ship within the time frame promised. I will never do business with this merchant and recommend you don't either. read full review »
Megatrends Technologies
Their tech support is bad, really bad. They want to accuse you of wrong
doing way before they'll accept that their product may be at fault. Had a
board of theirs that went bad. Did every test imagainable, yep it was
bad. Called their tech support and the guy was rude. He also asked me if
I overclocked the board and I told him, "No, it's a cyrix 200 at 75mhz."
Then he bellows, "That's overclocking it!" Anyone who knows anything about
computers knows the cyrix 200 supports and runs at the 75mhz... read full review »

I purchased 3d Studio Max 6 from this so called "company" for $209.90 + 9.95 tax. I was so ticked off when I found out that I downloaded a program with a crack. The same thing that you can download off of Kazza or Limewire for free. I am furious. I want to do whatever it takes to put these people into an 8 by 10 room with Bubba. I have anti-piracy companies after them, next step is FBI. Anybody have any other ideas. I want this company to burn. read full review »

BEWARE !!
Don't even think about doing business with this company. I attempted to purchase an IMac G5 from MegaMacs. I paid for expedited service and did not receive the computer until a week later. When I did, it was defective. I requested an RMA and a refund and returned the machine. I called the company to make sure I was clear about the refund. Instead they "fixed" the machine and sent it back. Meanwhile, I purchased another computer from Apple. I informed MegaMacs of this and that I wanted a refund. Eventually they did... read full review »
Megahaus
I did not know MegaHaus was previously known as Dirt Cheap Drives. Several months ago, I purchased a Western Digital 7200 9.1G on-line and had been negotiating with Dirt Cheap Drives at that time. They never called or e-mailed me to let me know when the hard drive would be in stock at the advertised price. I eventually purchased elsewhere.
Currently, I purchased a 10X Pioneer DVD drive 104S from MegaHaus and the unit just kept locking up my (Super7) AMD K6-2 500 MHz with Matrox G400 32 MB dual head and SoundBlaster Live! sound card. They... read full review »

Well I have very mixed fealing about this dealer.
PROS ARE THAT:
AWSOMELY FAST SHIPPING, FREE (with Fedex and NO SIGNATURE though)
They have very good communication
Very friendly and attentative
Helpful
Cons ARE:
I ordered an ASUS P4p800 DELUXE motherboard, but instead got the NON deluxe (for the deluxe's price) version IN the deluxe's box with a missing CD. I got the CD from ASUS with no problems, but I HAD TO RMA THE MOBO BACK WHICH COST ME $8.50. This is the same 8.50 that I supposedly saved by not going... read full review »
Matrix Orbital
Based on several reviews, I decided to try out a Matrix-Orbital LCD display. Their website was fabulous - well laid out, all the specs in each units descriptions, and you could even look through the manual for each item online to make sure it would fit your needs.
Their transaction pages were easy and clear, and I had the unit in my hands (even choosing regular shipping) just 3 days from when I clicked "OK" - it even had to come through Canadian customs, which has given me problems in the past. Not so this time - bravo Matrix... read full review »

Don't waste your time. I ordered an audio receiver a month ago when item was in stock. My order still shows "pending". They have since been selling the item again at a higher price than the sell price I purchased at.
They don't even have the decency to email me with an "I'm sorry but..." !!!
Don't be fooled by their low prices--bait and switch!
Take your women and children and run for the hills!
Oh, and don't waste your time trying to email or call...it all gets trashed or erased. They do not care!
Please go out of business and do us all a favor! read full review »
Marquel.com
DO NOT ORDER FROM MARQUEL. I placed three order, the most recent in June, and was completely satisfied. However, Marquel charged my debit card for almost $60 this past September, when I had not placed an order, and they have been 100% impossible to contact for resolution. Their 800 number is an answering machine from which I never get a response. Their web site for reporting problems also gets no response. Contact numbers and email address I've found on the internet for the company and its owner Alvin Russell are no longer in service. I've filed with the Texas AG and hope to get some help there. Primus - Montreal, Quebec
I have received very poor customer service from Primus as well.
I should've known to stay with my current service provider (Bell) when it took primus 2 WEEKS to connect my phone when I moved to my new house. I called them to see what the problem was that took so long to connect my phone, and a recorded voice would always say that the hold period may be more than 40 minutes. After three emails, they reply with RMA number and not only do I not get back my shipping costs, but I have to pay to send it back! Valentine & Kebartas
I received a call from Valentine & Kebartas on the 24th of February stating that I have a past due account with Dell and that I needed to pay $991 today, and that they would set me up for payment arrangements for the rest of it. So, I asked what the amount was, and she said $4, 464.00. I of course was surprised, because I only have one account with Dell and that one has been paid off for who knows how long. I proceeded to tell her that I don't owe them that amount, I was not in the mood to deal with this and I asked If I could call... read full review »
Ficititious Business Name Renewal Form
Whoever these people are, be advised that they are very dangerous; because not only did they know my business address, they also knew my name and my business partners name. They knew when I filed for my very first business license as well. This is not only scary but insane that people can pry into someone's livihood and then go and demand money and most people won't even think that this is a fraud, because of what they already know. This address needs to be investigated to the fullest and I really love what this site does, I just... read full review »

Yak communication
We cancelled with Yak Communications and went back to another provider. Yak continued to bill us for several months despite many phone calls and hour long waits. Finally, supplied proof that we are with the other provider (faxed in the bills) and a supervisor agreed to credit our account. No charges outstanding. The invoices kept coming.
Finally, 9 months later after a long wait and pleading they finally acknowledged their error. Our account really would be credited this time. Instead we got a letter in the mail (get this), welcoming u... read full review »
Steve Clayton Guitar Pics
Don't order the custom picks from Steve Clayton. I ordered the white Pearl picks. The imprint comes right off. All you have to do is bend the pic a little and the imprint comes off on your finger. Their imprint quality is not very high. The text was blurred and the line thickness wasn't consistent. Centering isn't very precise either. Find another supplier. read full review »
