I signed up with Dowdle Gas in January 2008 I explained I had a 35ft motor home that when I ordered gas for my home it would need gas sometimes as well they told me they could do that. I ordered my tank, (paid for the tank rental and gas) and ordered gas for my motor home. I ordered gas for my home throughout the year no problem. I have done business several times and built 2 computers buying parts through them. I find them not particularly friendly for the first time customers and their finance system does take a bit of time to work through. Purchased a computer from this company - they promised latest model from Toshiba - and actually sent discontinued model. RAM on computer that was promised 512MB upgrad and I only 128 MB. I was very frustrated dealing with these people. I purchased a modem from them (good price, fair shipping) and got my product in a timely manner and everything was fine. Then, about a week later, they inexplicably charges me for ANOTHER modem (the same item, only a week later) which I did NOT order. Well, I can see from teh reviews that business has gotten very bad in my year of abscence, or I was very lucky. I still get mail from these folks advertising products, but then again I have always done business with them C.O.D. I am a former LL Bean addict. Over 20 years of orders with rare mistakes and immediate correction. NOT ANY MORE. My past 4 orders have had mistakes or were not as described. Moreover, one shipment went to a completely wrong place and LLBean did no follow up-I had to call Fedex! They did resend the items but the order was wrong so everything had to go back anyway. This company sold me a property that was live in ready but really should have been condemned from the mold. I lived in Maine moved to Alabama and thought I had a house waiting. So when I finally got a hold of someone named Jason he laughed and asked me what did I expect. So they said we could look at other properties which were all about the same amount of trashed. I already had the umlimited by boost plan that first came out...didnt have many complaints except the price kept going up but the service worked great..no issues..I decided to get the new unlimited plan because it was cheaper at only $50 versus the $70-75 I was already paying for just unlimited talk and text. This company sells phone numbers and voice mail service. I signed up for their monthly service costing $9.99. My receipt shows that my TOTAL monthly cost would be $9.99. Then when this company bills each month they charge $10.93. When I asked about it they said this was not tax but a company charge to recover costs. We contracted a videographer for our wedding dvd through Spada Photography Inc for our wedding on November 30, 2002. After some time, the dvd stopped playing in the middle so I contacted James Spada in April 2008. He told me to mail it to him and he would look at it and remake it for us. Horrible service, well actually no service. A vm msg saying to email website does not classify as customer service (this recording runs during their "normal business hours". They have yet to reply to any emails I have sent about the item that was ordered and yet to received.
