It appears that is one of the ways Telus makes a profit. They put $211.00 cancellation fee on my credit card. I phoned in October and they agreed it was an error and would reverse the amount. It is now December and the reversal did not come through. I phoned again and the credit had not been processed. The first person told me that I would have to call the credit card company and initiate a dispute. I rented a system from Turning Technologies thinking that TurningPoint was a reliable service. The system provides real-time feedback from people in a business meeting. Well, the technician they sent was nice, but didn't really know his product. The worst part was that during the meeting the system would not work. Votes were not received even though people were voting. We had to ask people to vote 2 or 3 times on the same question before we received their votes. It was very frustrating to say the least. Thought I signed up for the one annual free credit report. Next month I receive a bill from my credit card company with a MONTHLY service charge of $21.90 from CIC. CIC claims that when you sign up for the FREE credit report you are also consenting for them to charge you monthly for their services. When asked what their services are, they did not know!!! I called them to pick up my 12 y/o daughter & myself they said right away. Lies !!! I waited over an hour for them I repeatedly tried calling them they must have caller id they never picked up the phone of course.I had to walk with my daughter until I found a place that I was able to get another car service number and they were kind enough to pick me up. I was intrigues by all the commercials for the Rogers Wireless Internet Stick so I bought one. The ads all seem to be "plug and play" and the instructions indicated just that. My laptop is not brand new but is only two years old. I tried to make it work and could not. We ordered an AMEX gift card and received confirmation on November 24th. When 10 business days were up I called the following three days asking where the card was. If you own an iPhone be careful not to lose it or in my case have it stolen. Fido will not replace that phone for anything less than $675 .
