I am pretty happy I did not use these guys. I called for a quote because their commercials claim they have the lowest price for automobile insurance. I called up and gave all my information. They stated they cannot insure me because they could only cover liability and my vehicle is financed. Are they serious? What kind of insurance company only deals in liability? In less than a year our heater failed. They had the nerve to blame it on "water chemistry" and would not honor the warranty. Our water had good levels of everything, was clear, no issues, etc. These people called us every 2 days for a month trying to sell it to us, then left us in the cold (literally) when it broke. Oh... even if the heater was covered, we were going to have to pay at least $115 for a service visit from their authorized repair company in my area. These people keep charging my credit card for this supposed make money from Amazon.com internet solicitation which I never wanted, used, asked for, or signed up for. First they charged a small amount, $1.95 then later $39.85. I called and argued and they won't remove the charges and then said they'd cancel my account and to try the site until next month. Twelve days ago I ordered a $400 item from exoticsportbike.com. I have to this day not received an invoice. I contacted exoticsportbike.com via email because they do not answer the customer service line. The only answer I received stated that my order had been received. Today I called the sales line and yes exoticsportbike.com answered right away but after hearing that I was checking on an order status I was put on hold for ten more minutes. Big City Movers provided a very poor service and neglected to move the most cumbersome pieces of furniture. My relatives had to help the following day because Big City Movers said that the furniture would not fit in our home. They were completely WRONG!!! I purchased a little wood sink/stove combo from the company. They shipped me the product broken and with no instructions or hardware. I had purchased 3 pieces to the set for my daughters birthday and assembled 2 of the 3. Unfortunately the last box was opened outside of 90 days. Today, October 6, 2008, I had my Frididaire dishwasher repaired by Sears Home Services (Sears service order #:65914956). While the repair technician was on-time and courteous, I am absolutely livid about the $179.00 charge for essentially unplugging the drain hose. I am supposed to receive coupons in the mail for free items according to home much I spend. I spent $600 last Christmas holiday and never received the coupons. The Landing at Otter Cove in Thorne Bay, Alaska is not worth your time or money. Chad and Myra Remington do not treat their customers equally, nor do they know how to run a lodge. They do however charge for every little thing, such as freezer bags ($12.00 for 25 bags) and bottled water ($14.00 for a case). The price per person is so high you could stay at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City. I worked at Microdyne for a couple of years. It was a joke. I went through 5 managers in a couple of years. I ended up working for a manager who had no clue. The harder you worked, the more work you got. You work there to make someone else look good. The word performance review is unknown. Leaving that place was the best thing I ever did. We were denied overtime and told that if we worked it that we wouldn't get paid. I remember working with customers several times and having to stop. I feel sorry for the customers I left behind. You pay their initial charge of $4.87, but when you log back onto the site you discover that no only do they not have what you were looking for, but ALL they have is porn. You can be looking for something as innocuous as sheet music, and end up paying for porn on a monthly basis from automatic deductions from whatever bank account you paid the $4.87 sign-up charge from. We ordered a granite counter top for our kitchen. They installed it with a broken corner that was poorly glued. They did return to fix the problem somewhat, but they have not responded to our further concerns. We have dealt with their main office in the Detroit area.
