Maverick Seminars
Mr. Daniel Williams visited my office selling tickets (gift cards) to an event featuring Tom Hopkins earlier this year (March time frame). When my office got word that Tom Hopkins had cancelled the event, Maverick Seminars told those that purchased tickets to return them to their office so that they could re-issue new tickets when Tom Hopkins rescheduled. We returned the tickets with the expectation that we were going to get new ones; this never happened. After dozens of unanswered phone calls and faxes, and finally threatening legal action a... read full review »

SECOND NOTICE PRIZE ENTRY OFFER mailing we've been trying to get a hold of you offer looks like one of those scams that you are warned about on several websites because people never signed up for any such offer or puschased anything to get this offer like they claim, but they actually bought peoles info off a broker list that Cutting Edge Media Inc./True Wealth Magazine is selling. Even though we never signed up for any offer they still got our info unscrupulously and are selling it without our knowledge/approval, Inever ever bought... read full review »

Sears/CCR Plan
I was charge for a CCR plan which is credit card protection plan, I never ask for this service. When I found out about this charges I called Sears and they told me that they were not the ones responsible for the charges. They told me that I had to call the CCR 1800 number in order to have the charges off my account. I called the number and the person that I talk to told me that she was going to set the balance to $0. Next month my account had a balance of $3.83 plus a late fee. For some stupid reason the person who help me out left a balance... read full review »
Hollister CO
I ordered $145.45 worth of clothing from Hollister on August 20th. As of this date, October 13th, they have not arrived. According to US Post Office Tracking, the package has been sitting since August 22nd. Hollister does not care that I have not received it, since technically they did ship the items. However, they should care enough to call the Post Office from THEIR end as the shipper and get this order to me. The Post Office says Hollister uses the CHEAPEST method of ground shipping involving pallets, where hundreds of packages have the... read full review »
Dr Move
When I called Dr. Move to make a reservation I told them I had very large, oversized furniture and it is hard getting it through the doors so they would probably need a larger truck but Edwin assured me that this truck would move a 3 bedroom house and since I only had a one bedroom apartment that a 20 ft truck would get everything in 1 trip.
Then the movers showed up at my place 3 Hours Late! I had the 12-2 slot and they showed up at 5. When they looked at my furniture they said we won't be able to do this in one trip. Of course they... read full review »

Eyeglassworld
I visited the lake Worth store, and as soon as I entered, I smelled the wet stinky order. I stayed long enough to look at frames, and during the 20 minutes I was there, I began to have respiratory problems. Burning throat and itchy eyes and a throbbing headache. I left immediately and during the rest of the day, I had a headache and sore throat. My eyes and nose began to run. I contacted the store, and got NO response after three calls and an email. I contacted the health department and OSHA came out and found the building to have toxic... read full review »

Westgate Lakes
We purchased a biannual 3br timeshare in 2002 at Westgate Lakes for 11K at one of their sales pitches. Tried to sell it after a couple times of use--- trust us--- there's no resale market! The units are nice but not worth having to pay 850 each time we want to use it; they charge $130 to use a banked week --- and good luck trying to schedule it when you want it. You can usually find a WGL owner trying to sell his week on Ebay for 500-800 / week --- that's the way to go! WGL ended up buying the unit back for $1000 after we listed it... read full review »
Uniway Of Charleston
I would never ever recommend anyone working or participating with Uniway. the manager is a disgusting person. I worked there as the front office receptionist towards the end of 2006. On several occasions my boss made sexual comments to me and asked me sexually explicit questions. The final straw was a few days after I had gotten a tattoo and he wanted to see it. It was on my lower back and I told him that it was not appropriate. He called me in his office and as I was walking out (I had a pair of khakis and a button down shirt, he lifted up my... read full review »

Finally after threatening to file a complaint with the Attorney General, and disputing the charge, Cedric Campbell stated he would work on it right away, now September 29th. 4 hours later he contacted me and stated that he could no longer offer the product/service to us and said we had to give him more money to do a different type of job. Public Records Pro
After paying nearly $40 for all this "free" information that "even detectives use to find information, " I found that they do not provide one bit of information to you. The information on their site is stuff we knew about back in grade school and it's in the public domain, easy to find on the internet. They didn't take me to one place that offered me information that I didn't have.
I want my money back, and sue these creeps to put them out of business.

Enhanced Services Billing
Unfortunately, I've not looked closely enough at my AT&T bill. According to Enhanced Services Billing we signed up for it in June 2005. We have NEVER signed up for it. They say we provided consent through a website but are unable to provide any details. We've been paying about $16 per month which works out to be $500. All they've offered is a 2 month credit. The funniest part is I got the credit but the line item is on the bill AGAIN! I see in the forums that many others have experienced the same by this worthless company. read full review »

Syracuse University
Syracuse University offers an online program that is simply a rip-off. The teacher was virtually absent, the content that was tested was far from the content that was taught and if that weren't enough, the teacher was unfair and unethical in her grading process.
I tried to address the issues with program administrators and the dean, however it seems that they only care about enrollment and money- not their students.
It was a very expensive and time consuming class that was not worth one red cent.
Save your money. Go to a better university. read full review »

Roguelands Seeds Company
I placed order for 100 veg seed packets on Aug 21. Received order confirmation, then shipping confirmation Sept 23. Did not receive at end of two weeks. Contacted (Sept 7) shipping email and payment co. Both responded by saying inquiry made, reshipped Sept 8. No shipment 10 days, later, follow-up inquiry and was told wait until Sept 22. No shipment by Sept 23, placed inquiry, as above, again. No response from either.
Company website clearly states U.S. require 4 to 10 days from date of shipping. I am requesting a refund, again and will post follow-up on this and other complaint sites. read full review »

Genesis Vanlines
Most awful service I've dealt with in my 35 years of existence. Their entire operation is a big scam/lie. They tell people what they want to hear, then burn them and move on.
