When logging into verizon.net to look at email in my inbox to examine email, delete spam, etc. I am bombarded with advertisements that flicker and move and twinkle above and to the left of the list of emails. These are annoying, ugly, and distracting. Verizon.net needs to clean up their act! We ISP customers are paying dearly for the service they are providing. There is thus no need to advertise. Snapfish agreed to mail my photos in 1-2 business days. After 7 business days went past a note came and said they were behind in the orders. It's been 2 weeks and after a call to to their call center (India) I was told that the order would take 5 more business days. The representative offered no explanation - just "I'm sorry" . ComFi.com calling cards look like they offer great rates, so I was definitely going to try them. They advertise their low rate to call Sweden at just under one penny. This card looks good on the surface but it has more fees than a Hospital. Besides an outrageous weekly fee of nearly one dollar, what is this: Service Taxes & Surcharges 25% + 10% on calls over 1? What does this even mean? So they want to charge me 35% on a ten minute call? So now the rate is well over one penny. IMHO there are many better options. When it comes to rebate, this company is the KING of the scumbags. EVERY time I have purchased one of their products, be it from Fry's, Buy.com, Amazon, etc., there is a problem with the rebate. I bought a new car to find out later it had been damaged by the dealership, fixed, and then sold to me as new. I am still, after 3 years, attempting to recover damages. This practice of non-disclosure is illegal in the state of Oregon. The law is narrow and limiting though so this dealership is getting away with this and will continue to use these illegal practices. I purchased Coldplay tickets for my son who lives in Chicago. The concert was promised to be 8/5/08. We heard online that they had "rearranged" their tour. I checked their website and the Chicago concert will be rescheduled for July 24th but that all ticket holders will be able to get a refund "from the point of sale."
