Rave Hairspray
I have been a consumer of Rave hairspray also since as long as I can remember. A few years ago, they changed it (with a bigger nozzle) and too much comes out and makes your hair too wet. This is disaster for someone with naturally curly hair who blows it out straight. Then you spray the new Rave on it and it goes curly again....not good.
I sent a complaint then and to my surprise, they changed back to the old BETTER version. They emailed me saying that they were returning to the old because of all of the complaints they were... read full review »
Postal service
The post office between benton, Louisiana and thermopolis, wyoming. I recently mailed out two boxes to my mother containing baby items for my sisters little newborn baby girl, including new items and some of my son's outgrown items also family heirlooms. It was in a 10 gallon aquarium box filled with 20 pounds of baby items. One box made it there days later and the 14th of April. They were mailed out on April 11th. To this date the other box is still missing. I have contacted both mail recovery centers and been told there is no record of thi... read full review »
Enfocus Photography
We had an agreement with Enfocus photography to provide a glamour photo session as a fundraiser for our Girl Scout Troop. The agreement was that we would sell coupons to customers and they would provide the photo shoot. Their policy is to send them $5 per coupon sold as a deposit. Their materials state, 'you will receive the $5 back for each sitting photographed.' Our photo shoot was scheduled on June 3, 2006. I spoke with Mr. McIver on June 6, 2006 following the photo shoot to explain to him our disappointment in the services which were... read full review »
Michael C. Fina
I went to register at Michael C. Fina and Company located on 5th Avenue in New York city. They also have a web page on theknot.com. At the time of registering for my gifts, they convinced me to do the 'consolidated registry' in which my gifts are 'held' for me and upon my approval, they'll send all the gifts to me at once.
It turned out the china pattern I registered for was discontinued, but they continued to sell the china for 5 MONTHS after it got discontinued. On top of it, they did not have the china in... read full review »

800-Super calling card
In April I have bought '800-SUPER' $5 calling card (112 minutes, no maintenance fee and no connection fees). Their customer service number is 1-800-926-3571.
During first two weeks I have made three short calls: 10 minutes, 16 minutes, and 12 minutes. While calling I have noticed that the rate per minute is nearly 50% higher than the advertised rate (advertised rate - 4.5c/min, actual rate - 7c/min). Then the balance started to disappear without calls -30c, -50c, -90c, -40c, -30c, etc. I have called to customer service and told them about... read full review »

Wal-Mart
I purchased a CarFreshener air freshener for my truck. It reacted with my dashboard and caused damage to my truck. I also remember being sick and having to go to the doctor.
I contacted Wal-Mart. They referred me to their 'arbitrator'.
The 'arbitrator' referred me to CarFrehener.
CarFreshener refereed me to Liberty Mutual, their insurer.
A spanish-speaking lady from Liberty Mutual was very rude to me. When I told her that I would rather not give her my social security number, she refused to process the... read full review »
AOL
I hate how hard AOL has made it now to download your pictures. They use to have nice Albums that you could decorate. Now you have to drag your pictures to get them in the spot you want to make your Album. UPGRADE my foot. Every time they upgrade something on AOL it is worst. I have had AOL for years, and this picture business is the Worst. Wake up AOL are you are going to be finding yourself at the bottom of the stock market..

BPL Mobile Communications
I had BPL mobile post paid sim with STD facility. On discontinuation, I was supposed to get refund of 2000 rs. I had changed my address of communication and submitted a 'change of address' request personally to BPL office. For one year I have not recieved any refund, on enquiry they say they have send draft to old address. The draft was handed to some unknown person as the signature on recieved receipt are not mine. No one is doing anything about this at BPL office. Although thedraft has not been encashed, they refuse to issue a new draft. This is sheer carelessness on part of BPL mobile. Can I do anything about this? read full review »
ATT Worldnet
ATT Worldnet notified me by mail that ISP (Internet Service Provider) service for all of Puerto Rico (where I live) would be discontinued in Jan 2002. I called the company to cancel my account and ask for a referral to another ISP service.
On May 27 2003, I noticed that ATT Worldnet had continued to charge my VISA credit card for monthly service, at the rate of $18.95/month for the ensuing 16 months. I contacted the company by phone (1-800-400-1447), but the supervisor I talked with, Christine, refused to refund my money, even though she... read full review »
Comcast Phone Service
This is an addendum to my earlier complaint about Comcast phone service in Montgomery County, Maryland. Since I recorded that complaint, problems have worsened. Comcast has scheduled and failed to keep two appointments, trapping me at home for six hours, to no avail. I have, by this time, spoken with no fewer than 13 customer service or tech reps, a time-consuming business involving countless hours 'on hold.' I am sitting here now, waiting for yet another tech to show up and accomplish the task of exchanging the modem that service... read full review »

Novelty ID Factory
This complaint is posted to advise other unsuspecting customers of the fraudulent practices of the business, namely Novelty ID Factory. Their website address Noveltyidfactory.com is operating strictly to obtain monies for non-governmental issued identification cards without delivery of product to the consumer. Jack's Fabrics
I received the worst service and treatment (twice!) I have ever received when I walked into this upholstery and fabric store in the upscale town of Darien, CT. The owner announced he was closing an hour early after I'd driven an hour to look at fabrics in this small but overpriced shop.
The previous occasion I'd been in this store I had to wait for an hour for a staff member to ask if I needed assistance, and despite the sign in the window that stated 'We welcome walk-ins' I was told that without an appointment I wouldn't be helped or... read full review »

They also opened an AOL account with the same card in Feb. Unfortunately I didn't notice these charges until late April. I called my bank and closed the card. I called AOL and even though they were a bit of a pain, they did refund me all... read full review »
GE
We bought this machine 4 years ago from Whiteford Keagy appliance store in Monroe, N.Y. It has already died and there are only three of us in the house with an average amount of laundry. We could get it fixed to the tune of 400 dollars and at that price we might as well buy a new one. I am not unpleased with Whiteford Keagy but GE. It makes one not want to buy American products. I have tried to honor the American companies but this issue irritated me and it will make me look to European brands in the future. Tell America to start making a... read full review »
Kitchen Aid
Well, so much for a name brand appliance -- the compressor in the Kitchen Aid refrigerator failed after less than 3 years -- actually it has been malfunctioning for the last 8 months, but the first 'fix' Kitchen Aid had was to replace a part (solenoid) that wasn't under warranty at our cost ($150). It worked again (noisily) for a couple months then failed.
Called Kitchen Aid extended warranty at 1-800-239-5980 on June 6, 2006. They assigned A&E Factory service to come out on 6/9/06 to look at unit and determined it needed a new... read full review »

There, he set up shop in a business parking lot/ strip mall, while half way blocking the fire lane. Then, we made a mad dash inside all of the businesses, watching him solicit all of them to buy this cheap reproduction art out of the back of his vehicle.
