Genuine Suded Moccasins
Ordered Moccasins from 'Save by Mail, Inc.' on May 5, 2006. Check ($11.64) was cashed by said company but no product has arrived. Big colored ad in newspaper magazine but no address on the half of ad I kept. Where the heck are they? Customer in No. California. read full review »
Blockbuster
I have been a customer of Blockbuster.Com for 2 years now.
I actually have the max account of 8 out at a time for $39.99 a month.
In December of 2005 someone jacked my card (the same I use at Blockbuster.com) and opened a new account at Blockbuster.com. So I was being charged $39.99 and 19.99 a month. They also opened an AOL account with the same card in Feb. Unfortunately I didn't notice these charges until late April. I called my bank and closed the card. I called AOL and even though they were a bit of a pain, they did refund me all... read full review »
Jack's Fabrics
I received the worst service and treatment (twice!) I have ever received when I walked into this upholstery and fabric store in the upscale town of Darien, CT. The owner announced he was closing an hour early after I'd driven an hour to look at fabrics in this small but overpriced shop.
The previous occasion I'd been in this store I had to wait for an hour for a staff member to ask if I needed assistance, and despite the sign in the window that stated 'We welcome walk-ins' I was told that without an appointment I wouldn't be helped or... read full review »
Kitchen Aid
Well, so much for a name brand appliance -- the compressor in the Kitchen Aid refrigerator failed after less than 3 years -- actually it has been malfunctioning for the last 8 months, but the first 'fix' Kitchen Aid had was to replace a part (solenoid) that wasn't under warranty at our cost ($150). It worked again (noisily) for a couple months then failed.
Called Kitchen Aid extended warranty at 1-800-239-5980 on June 6, 2006. They assigned A&E Factory service to come out on 6/9/06 to look at unit and determined it needed a new... read full review »
GE
We bought this machine 4 years ago from Whiteford Keagy appliance store in Monroe, N.Y. It has already died and there are only three of us in the house with an average amount of laundry. We could get it fixed to the tune of 400 dollars and at that price we might as well buy a new one. I am not unpleased with Whiteford Keagy but GE. It makes one not want to buy American products. I have tried to honor the American companies but this issue irritated me and it will make me look to European brands in the future. Tell America to start making a... read full review »
Vonage
Vonage wasted days of my time installing their VOIP equipment and calling them trying to get my local telephone number switched to their service, only to find that the service is totally inappropriate for DSL and would have cost me more to use that just keeping the telephone plan I already have with my local telephone carrier.
I spoke at length with Vonage prior to ordering their service (perhaps the service rep didn¹t understand what I was asking as she spoke with an Indian accent). I was assured I could disconnect my local... read full review »
ArmyNavyDeals.com
I order items from this online store for my son's birthday. Their web site says 99% of orders processed within 24 hours, not! I ordered on the 6th of July, they charged my card next day. I waited for email I was to be sent when shipped. I emailed the Uncle Sam's store-on their armynavydeals web site. was told it was taking extra time because I had used their free first item shipping rate. It was a lie, they did not have any of the items that I ordered. I emailed them again and got a reply on the 12th. This time I was told the items I... read full review »
Netdropshipper.com
I've had several problems with this supplier in the past:
1. Took 2 months to get a refund on a order they never shipped.
2. An xbox I ordered from them wouldn't play games, they told me to send it in to the manufacturer.
3. Bought a PSP from them and it turned out to be a Japense Version. Wouldn't play american movies. Website didn't say it was the japese version.
4. Have had several orders with missing items. They claim the full order was shipped. In the end I lose money because of the missing items.

Samsclub.com
I was working with my business partner who had the Sam's Club membership and I ordered a pop-up canopy for our outdoor expos. I input my credit card information and the billing address was declined. I called the national call center and they told me it was because their online ordering system only uses the first five digits of the zip code, and NOT the zip + 4. They actually instructed me to call my credit card company and remove the zip + 4 from my billing address! I told them that the Zip + 4 insured that any statements and new card... read full review »
Domain Registry Of America
Have you just received a letter in the post from ‘Domain Registry of America’ (DRoA), urging you to pay them for renewing your domain name? The paper, with a London address on the back, looks like a bill and tries to scare the reader with “Your registration will expire on May 10, 2005. Act today!”
Don’t worry about your domain, this is a scam! There is no need for you to renew now, and certainly not with DRoA!
Following a few reports from our users regarding some ‘phoney bills’ they have been... read full review »
Angies List
Angie's List will keep charging you even after you cancel your subscription or "discounted trial". My advise is to pay by paypal so that you can contact them when angie charges you again and again after cancellation. The nominal fee that you will repeatedly refute, at first, won't seem worth the time but will quickly accrue. Angie's banks on their customers being either busy or lazy. Caveat emptor!
I believe that this accurately describes my experience with angie's; I'm adding these thirty characters to... read full review »

This company has been calling repeatedly, not saying anything, but just calling and hanging up on a continual basis. You can hear the person breathing on the line. I have asked the person to stop calling and when I do they just hang up. Then a couple of days ago I got a letter from them attempting to collect on a time barred debt. What gets me, is I went through a very traumatic incident and was unable to work. I paid for their unemployment insurance which paid the cc company. The card limit was only 600.00. I had the same issue with the '2nd interview.' After getting to the office, we left, and drove roughly 30 miles before reaching the trainer's 'territory.' There, he set up shop in a business parking lot/ strip mall, while half way blocking the fire lane.
