I booked a holiday 15/3/08 for 1 week. My confirmation reads 15/02/08. I queried the dates. They promised over a week ago to listen to their Phone tapes to see who is at fault. This is only a summary but I made over 100 telephone calls and 30 or more email messages most not answered. I traveled to Afghanistan via Dubai on Emirates Flight EK413 on the 19th November 2007. The flight arrived in Dubai approximately 1 hour late no problem after passing through customs I moved directly to the Baggage Carousel to collect my 2 checked in bags. I had a group booked with Apple Vacations traveling to Cancun flying USA3000. I had a gentleman who needed to travel with the Inogen concentrator. When we booked him the agent never told us he could not take it. This gentleman feels he has been discriminated against since all the other airlines even Southwest allows this unit to be taken on. On my return flight to Australian on Flight CX889 on 31st January 2008 there was a passenger that was extremely ill before she even got on the flight from Vancouver to HongKong. She proceeded to vomit the ENTIRE journey... it's was appalling and i did complain that she shouldn't have been allowed to travel. I flew to Scotland several times last summer on Globespan. The on-board service was excellent; the planes were clean and well-maintained. Staff was informed and professional. I am currently making plans to fly back to Scotland several times this summer, and on one trip, I'm actually taking seven other Americans with me. Heritage Hotel, Ipoh is fulled with cockroaches and ants. My family and me stayed from 1st till 2nd February 2008. The 1st thing i saw when i entered the bathroom was 2 fat cockroaches. My children were terrified. I had to kill and dispose them. Then followed by my wife screams after half an hour. The water in the basin was not flowing at all. Bluegreen is not an ethical company. They lie and have not kept their end of the bargain. Their company is no better than a pyramid scam. As a family with school age children, it is nearly impossible to make reservations at popular vacation resorts, unless you book 10 months in advance. The process of making reservations is very cumbersome, as you cannot book resorts online yourself but you have to go through customer service. My experience there was decent, until I made the mistake of accidentally leaving my laptop in the room. As soon as I realized, I contacted them, they informed me they had it and would mail it right away. I gave them my credit card to charge shipping. I purchased a vacation package and was unable to use it before the 12 month deadline. I was told I could get a 6-month extension but how do you do that when either you cannot get through by telephone, or the telemarketer tells you that she will forward the information to a supervisor and they never call me back. I purschased a vacation from Gloria Pipkin now Gloria Holmgren(a travel agent) to go to Poland along with 3 of my friends. The cost of the vacation to Poland was close to $10,000. We had to pay up front with cash. Due to health problems, we had to cancel the vacation in September. We have called her and tried to get the information on the insurance we purschased or the booking agency to get a refund. My complaint is because booking.com works with a hotel by the name of Bungalowpark Domaine de Chodes in Belgium, which apart from being of awful quality, also rips off their customers. In the confirmation they sent me they said that the credit card was only for reservation, and that they wouldn't apply payment. Then they asked for a wire transfer. This is the worst company for customer service. We called in a no heat call, they sent a tech out who stated that we were out of oil. We called they company and was not due for another oil delivery for over a month, we also asked the tech if the oil tank was leaking, he assured us it was not. We had a reservation, guaranteed with a credit card for a 3 day trip to visit our daughter in Hollywood. We arrived late at night and were told they had overbooked so we would have to go to another hotel. They sent us miles away to a shabby part of town with a noisy bar right next door. This was very frightening to us as we are somewhat elderly and don't usually drive at night. The hotel had no carpeting or hot water. The hotel manager said this happens all the time. Warning!
