Very poor Conditions, Every thing in the room was falling apart, worn carpet, matress and chairs. The clerk at the desk was very unprofessional. Another guest came to the lobby while I was checking in to complain about loseing a clock, the clerk brushed the man off, told the man that they needed to stop pissing (excate word) in the bed. On my travel today from Bahrain to Dubai by EK840 my wife made an inflight duty free purchase of AED. 3, 085.00 (Receipt No. 77154) for which AED.4, 000.00 was given and in return the hostess gave change of only AED.15.00, in the hurriness of take off we also didn't checked the change & only upon exiting from airport noticed this. Stayed there 1 night while my daughter was having tests run at the Medical College of Georgia. A week after returning home, I checked my credit card account online and the hotel had charged 2 seperate $500. charges and one $300 charge!! Immediately I called the manager, he said that there was "water damage" to the room and that was the cost to repair. I received an advertising flyer from West Jet in my newspaper the Regina Leader Post on Mon Nov 2nd and I noticed a couple of vacations I was interested in. The one that I really wanted was a one week all inclusive vacation from Regina to the Hacienda Hotel in Puerto Vallarta for a cost of $679.00 plus $87.00 tax.It also said that if I booked before Nov 6th I would receive a $400.00 travel voucher for future use with West Jet for each 7 day vacation I booked. West Gate Resorts invited us to a sales presentation of their travel club and we did not purchase it - we were given a voucher to choose of several gifts that were going to be given by CERTS Co. After lining up for well over 2 hours for a flight to Perth, getting on the plane and then we being all the passengers ordered off the plane. The reason for this was a curfew. Tiger could not for some reason administer it's booking procedures and get customers on board in time. The flight captain stated we would get our money refunded, I have contacted Tiger 2 times, the first time it took over 26 minutes, the assurance I received it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get my money refunded. I was traveling on-board Northwest flights from Newark-Liberty I'tl to Delhi via Amsterdam last Tuesday, and checked in two duly locked bags at the origin. When I collected my baggage at Delhi, I observed that the locks on one of the bags was missing. I have never experienced worse customer support, and I am involved with customer support on a daily basis. The $18 "Gift Fee" has saved me a lot of money because it has forced me to see that there are much better, and much cheaper alternatives to Greyhound. I know someone who stayed at the Trinidad Hyatt hotel for a weekend in august 2009, he parked his car witht he hotel valet while he stayed there. His car got stolen from the Valet Parking and Hyatt has not accepted responsibility for the theft. Hyatt has not responded to his phone calls or emails with any helpful information with regards to solving this situation and they have kept quiet while the car rental company harrasses this individual and withdraws money from his credit card (so far the rental company has withdrawn up to $6000 american dollars). Room booking failed to be put thorough. I only discovered this when I mentioned to a friend to book the same hotel and he discovered they had no record of my booking. Laterooms.com advertise rate parity also for all their hotels. I am being charged 10 GBP more by booking through them than the rate advertised on the hotel site. We paid a substantial amount of money for the "Timeshare" even thou they deny. I was told that if we was not happy they could reslae in hours because the deal was so good. They even said they would take back if we changed our mind. Within 5 days we decided we had done wrong and emailed to ask them to take back or sell on. Hilton Grand Vacations makes offers for you to look at their timeshares. I flew- my cost- to Las Vegas just for this purpose. It was not at all what I expected. At the end they gave us a "gift receipt" for Delta Sky miles. It has been 11 months and we still have not received them.
