I have contacted them and of course get a recording asking me to leave a message because they are busy helping other customers. I have left a message and told them to stop taking money out of my account until I get my bears. They took aother payment again this month (February)! Isn't that illegal??? Your company has a commercial selling a meat product. It consists of a boy doing an auction with some of his classmates. A little girl comes in with a pony and he says "Sold to the lady with the pony". He is a small child. ASDA operate with the fast payment system, which means electronic payments paid by your bank are received within 2-4 hours. ASDA fail to apply those received funds with the correct value date. A value date in banking terms is the date that funds are actually available to them - so by failing to apply the correct value to the funds the Bank (now Santana) sit on the money and enjoy the interest it earns. My son's vehicle was repossed by Waukovia Dealer Services. We were both out of work, so be it. The rub is when we managed to scrape up the $1500 due, we called Waukovia. EXACTLY how much do we owe to who to get our truck back? Where is the truck? Answer was $1500 and the truck was in town. I purchased a gokart and a atv from this company. 1 day later the atv would not start up again. The gokart while riding it, the left front steering frame just snapped. Called the company got a run around had a warranty but no one will call me back when asked to speak to a manager, I am told there might be one tomorrow but they do not know for sure. I shop at several Walgreens averaging at least once a week. I purchased a prepaid Visa to use online, but it the websites would not accept it because it had no expiration date. I attempted to return it to save the $4.95 fee (plus tax) but was told there was nothing they could do. I was referred to a local customer service number, but my call has not been returned. This $5.00 is significant to me. I go to extreme lengths to save $5.00. Somebody in Walgreens should have the authority and desire to take action for customer satisfaction. I strongly suggest that anybody who wants to improve their credit score NOT get a CFNA credit card. I know they are the credit company who provides cards for Firestone and Plaza Tire Service. I would guess there are other companies as well. Before applying for a card please make sure you ask if it is CFNA. The problem is this -- they do not report credit limits to the bureaus. It was only then that I learned they not only charge a restocking fee of 25% but that they won't refund your money. They will only give yo a gift certificate. In December 2008 AX lowered my limit from $17, 500.00 to $5, 000.00 without notifying me before taking that action. They also raised the interest rate to 27.24% !!! This is robbery. I've had a credit line with them since 1982, and this is no way to treat such a long time, good paying customer. This card will be canceled and I recommend everyone else do the same. Many businesses don't even take AX because the company charges them too much for transaction fees. I opened a Care credit account last year 2005 to pay for dental work. The first 3 months I paid with no issues. Then the next statement I noticed a late fee. They had adjusted my due date. They did this 2 times. I called them the first time they stated they were going to take it off. NEVER DID> I called them again a few months later and they told me again I was late for the 2nd time. This company has been "slamming" me for the last 4 months with a 15.69 charge on my home phone! I have been calling for the last 6 hours and no one will answer the phone. I keep getting a recording saying the office is closed and will reopen during business hours. I am outraged that such FCC rules would allow this type of stealing to occur. The only progress I have made is submitting an online complaint to USBI. The reply email stated it would take up to 5 days to respond.
