I paid Heritage Web Design $700 last February to create a NEW site for my candle business. They are in the "top 1%" so I figured they must be good, right? NOT!!! Once they have your money, forget it. Enrollment of option plans billed to my cell phone without authorization or permission. I received a text message stating I have now become a member of this service called "imatch." I never heard of this service, nor did I ever give permission to bill my cell phone. Had to have new french-door style refrigerator repaired 3 times in first year. Finally, they agreed to replace it with new one. After purchasing an extended warranty door hinge broke. Repaired and door replaced but old parts have been here for "dispatch" to pick-up for nearly a month. Today called 6 different times and no one can tell me when they will come to pick-up the large part sitting in my garage. During the recent ice storm in the midwest, with millions out of power for up to two weeks, my new FR-300 emergency radio (with the American Red Cross logo on it) failed to work after one day. I purchased it through Radio Shack about a year ago and had not needed to used it until now, so it is out of warranty. Pretty same as all the other complaints, they called my cell and made everything sound legit. They took the $200.00 out of my bank account. The card never came!! They took the money out of my account when there was no money in my account, they never said when they where going to withdraw the money. So, they also put my account into a negative that now I have to fix. Not able to get a hold of anyone and the numbers they provide. I told bank and even printed out all info on them being a SCAM. I went through the drive through on Tuesday evening on January 22, 2008. I ordered 2 meals and an extra order of Monster shrimp. Total of order was $16.02. These were supposed to be complete dinners with slaw, pups, fish etc. When I got home which was 17 miles away, our meals were not complete. I purchased an HP Laptop from Costco on 5/16/2007. Unfortunately, on 1/16/08 the computer crashed and would not reboot at all. I called Costco Concierge services and they connected me to HP who then sent me a recovery disk which was to no avail. Supposedly i took a payday loan at the beginning of 2007. They cant or wont show me the agreement. So xmas was rough and i got another payday loan in dec from another co. In September of 2006 I called Financing Alternatives to purchase a computer because I did not have the money to buy one straight out. I paid on this computer for a year. I did change my order and went through all of their required paper work. On August 2, 2007, my husband and I signed a Franchisee contract with CleanNet. On August 11 & 18 , 2007 we attended training were we were informed that within 3-5 weeks of completion we would be contacted with out first contract. I ordered the 'free' trial from White Overnight in May of 2006 and paid the $3.95 'shipping' charge. I canceled the account before the ending of the free trial period. I never heard from them again. Last week while applying for a loan, my credit report shows an entry for a company called Access Capital of El Cajon, CA. They are a legitimate (apparently) collection agency. This company claims that you can make lots of money by referring people to your website that you purchase from them. You then have to pay additional money for them to send out emails on your behalf, promoting your website, and yet there is no way to tell if they actually send out these emails that you have paid them for in addition to the money that you paid for the website. We have had four fan motors replaced in our Freestar and it still whistles and makes a load noise that you can't even use the radio. The Freestar only has 15000 miles on it. I brought my car in on Friday January 11,2008 due to my steering wheel shaking when at high speeds. I had my wedding catered by this company (person). Turns out she (Angelina) knows little to nothing about catering weddings or any event for that matter. They were late and very unprofessional. Her food was not exceptional as she claims, she buys her food from costco and other warehouse stores. I later found out that all the information I read on her website was a big lie. Her experience was exaggerated and the testimonies submitted by the clients were in her own words not those who she claims wrote them. The public transportation (buses) in Laughlin are in desperate need of repairs. They are constantly braking down and are dangerous. I was told that the mechanic hires uncertified kids to make the repairs and that helps him keep cost down. Is this not dangerous? Are they putting profit ahead of safety?
