I tried calling the 1 800 number and was able to talk a woman named Jen who gave me the tracking # my shipment had and was told to check with www.canadapost.ca to see where the shipment is since it was mailed out on 12/11/07. The company just sent me a notice that I owe them over $130 for a phone bill (Bell Atlantic) in 1997. After reading all these complaints about this company, I am seriously thinking about filing a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission and my state attorney general. I recommend others to do this by going to "file a complaint" section under consumer protection of the FTC website (www. ftc.gov). They offered me a free credit card report which everyone is entitled to, once a year. Then they required credit card info to get it. I did not agree to any of the services offered, but now they tell me by providing the info I agree to a non-refundable contract with a 30 day cancellation requirement. I did not! Fabri-Tex made an unauthorized charge to my credit card in the amount of $2.95. I have never heard of this company or been to their website prior to my learning of their fraud. They make these unauthorized charges in small amounts hoping you won't notice the transaction on your itemized monthy credit card statements. I ordered a new TiVO DVR Monday, 12/10/07. It was delivered Friday, 12/14/07. They even threw in a free wireless connection. Although I have been able t connect two wireless laptops to my network, and TiVO was able to see my network, it was unable to connect. When I called customer tech support I was told to call the modem and/or router manufacturer for support or use ethernet or phone connection. Okay. I learned all this the hard way. What actually happens here is that once you have used Intelius, they send you an e-mail which usually goes straight into everyone's spam folder, since it reads as spam. The e-mail itself is an opt-out for the 14.95 monthly recurring fee for 24 Protect Plus or AP9*PMIDENTITY.COM-V (the charge which showed up on my statement) or any number of the umbrella sites they use to 'protect' you from identity theft. I recently ran across a string of fraudulent websites when I was searching for Christmas presents. Ultimate DVD Shop, a sister company of TV Series, that is an alias for DVD Donkey and TV Addicts. A little over a year ago my wife and I purchased a Sony Handy Cam on the day before we were leaving for Disney World Orlando. I had purchased a health contract for my dog Pinki in 2002, Pinki died in 2004. At that time I told them I was cancelling the contract as I did not have another dog. They agreed. Then they started sending me bills for the contract and said I had to pay it before they would cancel it. I told them they had already agreed to cancel it. Hello i have been a smoker for 7 years, and a user of Marlboro 100's for a few years. I recently purchased a carton of Marlboro 100's while passing through Delware. After smoking the first two packs with no problem i noticed the third and forth pack seemed to be unwrapped from there plastic material. I would like to file a complaint on my mail carrier, he refuses to deliver my mail because my mail box sets back 4 inches from my neighbors (mail boxes are on posts near the curb on our road).
