I am senior citizen and well respected. With the economy as it is there are no jobs for older persons. I have fallan behind on my mortgage, not because I am lazy but because Midland continues to raise my payments to an unrealistic amount. I have tried more times to contact them on the phone but am hung up on by a "little whinny girl that I am sure did not want to be disturbed while playing games or talking to her boy friend". Beware of this outfit. They are a lead generating organization, or that's what they claim. They offered me Real Estate Leads, that were "Ready Willing and Able" buyers and sellers. They would send a lead and at the same time charge my account. The problem was, they sent leads got their money but not one was "Ready Willing or Able. This is an extremely annoying commercial showcasing a child's voice counting all the ways Human Dental can save you money. It has a little girl cartoon which I assume is suppose to be cute but I find it so annoying and irritating that it's actually succeeded in turning me off to Humana Dental and because of that commercial I would pick any other dental insurance before I would consider Humana. I needed a phone number. PhoneAgent runs an internet service promising a search for $1.00 with a guarantee to refund the $1.00 if they do not have the information. This turns out to be a credit for another search. In addition, because I chose to try the service for $1.00 (instead of the one time use fee of $4.95) they automatically enrolled me in their monthly service for $18.95 with the provision that I could cancel by calling within 7 days (small print notice). I parked in the lot by my school, University of Houston-Downtown, with a valid surface lot parking permit. There were many other vehicles with similar plaques on the rearview mirror, however, my car got booted. These clowns are part of what some car dealers do. They promise you financing and you the customer act in good faith. You give them a deposit when asked. After they lie to you and don't produce, they keep your deposit. This happened to me at Kings Auto Plaza Brooklyn NY. I reported them to the Brooklyn DA, that's when I got my deposit back. Unbelievably, I discovered that my Wachovia bank account was being charged $19.95 per month by Best Benefits. I immediately went into the bank and stopped the charges, and had them call the 800 number to find out what was going on. Went to AMMCO shop in Dec. 3rd, 2010 to have my truck transmission service as the shifting was sticking. Asked them to change the fluid. I paid off the balance of my account in sept 2009, I actually overpaid the account by 47 cents. The card company closed my account but refused to refund the overpayment because it was less than one dollar. If I had owed that amount and not made the minimum payment I would have been charged $35.00 per month each month the balance remained. Anderson Crenshaw & Associates were hired to do collection services on our accounts that were past due and wouldn't respond to our collection calls. We have been doing business with them for just over a year and recently found out that they went out of business. Purchased a queen size mattress from Spring Air's "Luxuriance Collection" from the Brick Mattress store in 2007 for around $1500 CAD. 3 years later, it is a complete and utter piece of garbage. Bank of America trippled my interest rate without cause and tacked on about $1000 that I did not owe. They would not take payments and insisted on payment in full despite the fact that they knew I was unemployed. I couldn't pay, so they sued me. They used Sessoms and Rogers. My Social Security money is put on USDirectExpress card. My money was taken off my card on April 1, 2011 by a teller at 5th3rd Bank. Because my ID didn't have the same zip code "which she didn't ask me at all" as my card she voided out without permission and now this card hasn't put my money back. Each deny this being their fault. I ordered one informational DVD in August of 2010 with my debit card and they have been charging me $9.95 every month since. When I complained they told me I purchased a monthly membership with them(which I did not) They agreed to refund me 3 months but would not give me a phone number of who I can conntact regarding this matter.
