I was recently involved in a 'closing' of a film handled by Jeff Steele. He is highly unprofessional. Closing a film is not at all what he knows how to do. I'm left with a drama on my film. And I'm not the only one. I paid him a lot of money to close the movie. When I asked for a fee reduction due to non-performance he refused. Not only did I loose the the fee I paid him, but I also lost the film. His blog is a joke - and so is he. Don't ever work with him. I first applied for the company early in 2010. I only worked for this company 1 time for less than 2 days and I found my own employment. Within 6 months I had went back to this company and after being sent to 2 different temp assignments prior and they refused to do business with Contract Consultants unknown why. My garage roof leaked in a bad rain and wind storm. I requested names from Service Magic for roofers and also inside ceiling painting. Claudio appeared at my door and I told him my roof leaked. He said that he could fix it. He put a tarp over my garage area and part of the house. It blew off. A few days later he replaced tarp and then later took it off. He charged me $1800 for three times on my roof. Then I found out that he is not a roofer but a painter. What a liar! He also charged $400 to knock down the ceiling in a small 5' by 5' pantry. Terrible internet provider with horrible policies and even worse service. I had Digis as an internet provider for almost 5 years. At first, service was good and speeds were ok. Problem is, they throttle your internet speed based on usage. Basically, if you use the service they slow your speed to an incredibly slow speed. This did not seem like a big deal, but the internet is changing with streaming videos, Netflix, Hulu and others. If you try and use this service with Digis as your provider, well, good luck. We have had buildings insurance with C & G for a long time without complant until we tried to make a claim. They passed our claim through to a company called Asprea. They are awful. Calls are never returned the surveyor is impossible to get hold. In our case the "surveyor" was a Tyrone Barnes - absolutely useless. I had used Logmein Pro for a month and then forgot all about it. Not a big deal, except the card I used doesn't give me a monthly statement. I'm on social security and the card I used is a small amount that the Department of Human Services gives me monthly. However, it doesn't give me a statement. Michigan City AF is a nice place but the the staff is very rude! The trainers are very arrogant! Especially the managers wife! They constantly check themselves out in the mirrors. Seems like a very immature staff and not safe at all. Dangerous place to go at night. I have heard this complaint from others who will not renew.. I will look for another gym, with a staff who is not all about body building... Who watches the cameras? My cell phone does not get coverage and they kept telling me it would be better within a "few weeks". This led to a year of charges and still no strong cell coverage here in Virginia. I even bought an iphone like a big dummy! I know that I am stupid to keep paying but when I called to cancel the contract months passed and I am still being billed and debited by them. Leaving your tires and rims with Kal Tire may seem like a good deal. Hey, they store them for free and for a very reasonable price change them for you in spring and fall. No muss no fuss. We currently have 10 units covered by Sensible Home Warranty contracts. In the almost two years we have placed maybe four (4) calls for service, out of those 4 calls we have not been reimbursed for 1 repair which we had to end up calling our own contractor in for repairs.
