Cut my hand on a broken water glass doing dishes and had to go to local emergency room for stiches. I received the unit as a gift. When I called in to report that, after only a couple months' use, there is significant oil leakage from under the blade assembly, I was told that I have to contact the person who gave me the blender as a gift and find out where it was purchased. If it was an online purchase, I need to have the order number, in order to get customer service. This is cumbersome and not at all customer friendly.
