Kay Jewlers gave me quotes to have two rings of my mothers repaired. A solitare needed to have the shank reinforced (it was worn thin) and I was quoted $250 for this. The band, which had to be cut to be removed from my mother's hand, need to be reconnected and resized - I was quoted $150 for this repair. I received a mail offer of a free credit report from Lafayette Ambassador Bank, which I believe to be fraudulent. However, the credit report is NOT free!
