This is only a summary but I made over 100 telephone calls and 30 or more email messages most not answered. I traveled to Afghanistan via Dubai on Emirates Flight EK413 on the 19th November 2007. A-Drive in HP Pavillion failed about 8 months after purchase. HP phone routers in India confirmed that it was a warrantiable problem and took an hour of my time getting details for shipment of a replacement drive. This included obtaining my credit card info. I purchased a American telecom phone from Office Depot on Aug.27, 2007 @39.99$+tax6%. It was free after mail in rebate, $20 from Office Depot and $20from American Telecom. I submitted as per instruction, I received $20 from Office Depot but for $20 rebate from American Telecom is not come yet. My two month old barely used DVD drive stopped reading dvd's. When submitting a form to return the item, was given a confirmation number and told where to send it at my expense. I am complaining about the program Reg Cure for ParetoLogic. I was directed onto this as a FREE program. I ran it, it miraculously found 100's of errors on my system, errors my comprehensive Anti Virus Package had not even had a sniff of. I have also just read that the 'company' doesn't have seller or buyer protection policy through pay pal, not surprisingly. Came home from work to find the wife could not say no to a carpet cleaning demo for the Kirby Sentria. Basically nothing bad went on to my knowledge other than I suspected that when I asked if the cleaner he demoted was actually right out of the box or was I buying the demo that was used at prior homes I was told the unit was brand new, never used anywhere but in my home. Parker is not honoring the lifetime warranty that came with my Duofold ballpoint pen. It broke in half as I was using it and they refuse to repair it. After back and forth correspondence, it has become clear that they see things very differently. They claim that the twist mechanism is subject to wear and tear, and therefore is NOT covered by the warranty. When it dies, so does your expensive pen. I purchased a kenmore 800 dryer in December 07. The buzzer would go off but the clothes were still all damp. The repairman came and replaced the heat panel. The dryer would still go off and the clothes were damp. Apparently the moisture sensor is highly sensitive so as soon as one article of clothing is dry, the dryer shuts off. Great design, right? They said I need to experiment with different amounts of clothes till I get it just right. My 16 year old Kenmore dryer used to shut off when the clothes were dry. I flew to Scotland several times last summer on Globespan. The on-board service was excellent; the planes were clean and well-maintained. Staff was informed and professional. I am currently making plans to fly back to Scotland several times this summer, and on one trip, I'm actually taking seven other Americans with me. Bank of America, who I had a credit card account with, took the check, looked up my name I guess, and cashed the check - even though it was payable to my Landlord. Actually I do not have a complaint. I went on this diet and had GREAT success. It took me 8 months and I lost close to 80 lbs. My husband and mother also followed along with me and they also did very well. The reason I am commenting is I read a complaint by a Diane and she was saying that is a rip off, that after 3 weeks she did not loose anything. Well the reason she did not loose any weight was because she as not following the diet the way she should have. I have kept this weight off for 9 months and plan never to gain it back. I placed an order on Dec 8th for 2 tv show DVD sets- Emails were sent confirming shipment & payment was deducted from my VISA Debit card through a secure site. The order was received by Christmas eve. In January, i reached out to inquire about the order- the SITE was no longer taking orders- my order was delivered to a Naples Fl. address from Canada.
