Well it has been almost 6 days and Verizon still cannot figure out how to turn my DSL email accounts over to FIOS accounts. I cannot access my sub accounts and every night I call and they update the ticket. The OCS group then tells them it is working and nothing. Plus the on hold time is nuts. The fron line people at the fios are very nice but their hands are tied the say because they cannot even talk to the national email support people at verizon. My client is a television producer who shall remain nameless, however, he lost his wallet and around the same time his laptop crashed, and he was in dire need of a new one. My son ordered a pair of Dolce and Gabana shoes and Rockin' Republic jeans from this company. It took 4 1/2 weeks after they took the money out of his account to receive the merchandise. It is obviously fake, it came in a ripped up old shoe box from China. The company is supposed to be in California. I was notified by a police officer that they saw his order, name, address, phone #, partial credit card # and email address on the website when they went on it. That is how they contacted me. I applied for Roadrunner and was very pleased at the expertise of the company in signing me up for service, BUT... When the day came for the Tech. to come to my house it was a know show. Even though they had two ways to notify me by phone and also the fact that I was at home waiting after taking unpaid time off from work, I was not notified of their cancellation. I can beat your worst experience with the Geek Squad. In Oct '07 I called to have a wireless network and range extender configured at my business. The tech arrived an hour late (as he was from the Ontario, CA store and they scheduled him a service call 52 miles away (and allowed him with 15 minutes travel time...). He configured and got everything working, including WEP. In three days it crashed. I called for warranty service right away. They scheduled me for first opportunity-3 weeks later. As a family with school age children, it is nearly impossible to make reservations at popular vacation resorts, unless you book 10 months in advance. The process of making reservations is very cumbersome, as you cannot book resorts online yourself but you have to go through customer service. I filled out a Reservation Request Form online but I could have saved the time filling it out because they will NOT contact you if there is availability. Quality carpet cleaners did not show up at our house for 2 appointments. I waited around for 4hrs each day and no one called and said they were not coming. I called the company and they said " the technician had been there and left because no one answered the door " this is not true i was sitting there waiting for them. They repeated the address to me which was correct. And then said if i wait another 2 to 3 hrs that someone would be there and no one came... i will never use them again and i encourage everyone out there to not do so as well. Worst company ever. I had taken my kids in to have pictures taken before my son had to leave for the Marines. We are not sure when he will be back home, but the pictures we had taken of all of us together meant the world to me. Now because of some "girl", my pictures were blurry and off center. Recently I applied for Finance house credit card, the sales man told me the card is free for life and i can get 5@ cash back for 90 days if I make purchase of min of AED 1000/- Later when i got the card by courier I found there is no mention of 5 % cash back, and they have the exclusive right to change the term and condition without notice to the customers. I signed up for Mediacom phone service to go along with my internet and cable service. Mediacom was here on 1/24/08 and "hooked" me up. I can make outgoing calls, but am unable to get incoming calls. I run a small business and have lost nearly $8,000 since last Thursday. Mediacom says they are "working" on it since then. Northwest inspection Engineers failed to identify multiple and obvious home defects that have resulted in the loss of literally tens of thousands of dollars. Hiring them to perform the pre purchase inspection was a life changing event. Even though these inspectors are professional engineers, they performed at a level that has shocked subsequent inspectors who were hired to evaluate the defects. Inspectors are not expected to catch everything, and certainly not hidden defects. However, the stuff these men missed would be obvious to even a lay person. Baldwin Brass Hardware has redesigned (cheapened) some or all of their brass bathroom accessories. I gave cash up front to Lowe's for a quartz kitchen counter top. The product was flawless, but the installation was incompetent. I have been trying to get it resolved since March 25th and it is now June 18th. After paying $3500 they will correct the mistake if I pay them $500 more. He explains the "boiler room" Direct TV call center where everyone is a nervous wreck wondering when there will be a raid. Contracted Empire Today 588-2300 to replace a kitchen floor and was approved through there financing for $1607.00, with a 0 percent interest for 12 months. I never was late with a payment and was never charged any interests until the 12 months were up in JAN 2008. I found a 149.99 charge on credit card. First of all how did they get my Credit Card Number? When you call they tell you to get your membership number off of your membership packet. I never received a packet! Secondly they told me I cashed a 9.95 dollar check which authorized the membership, which was a lie. They are a scam and if you are not watching your credit card statements they are going to burn you. They did deactivate the membership and will refund my C.C. When arriving to the restaurant, the workers are busy, but then, in between customer orders, they are often seen exhibiting immature horseplay in the kitchen. Mainly though, when we received our "Papa" burgers, they had put way too much sauce on them (by the top bun), and the bottom bun of the burger was completely soggy from the two burger patties. They were very messy to eat and the fries weren't very fresh either. I purchased a sears front load HE5 dryer. They have a metal plate on back that looks like it is rusting. I have had this dryer less than a month. I found two friends that have dryers made by Whirlpool which is actually Kenmore. They have the same problem. The service technician said the plate is not rusting but the temperature is so hot its burning the plate. They use to coat the metal plate in white or black but they stopped doing it. He said there is no way to order the part with the white or black coating. The technician said he is not aware of any coloring coming off on the clothes. read full review »
