I purchased the DVD player because of the rebate offer. Most companies allow 60 to 90 days to submit a rebate, not 15days! To allow such a short amount of time to comply during the holidays is deceptive advertising and unfair. I would not have purchased the DVD player had I known about this deadline. I took out a policy for short term illness maybe a couple of years ago. Sometime later I developed some kind of a skin irritation around my ankle and it was hard for me to walk. So I went to the doctor and he told me to stay off of it for two weeks. I'm thinking it won't be so bad, I've got insurance. Come to find out,after I filed a claim it wasn't what I expected. My Opel Corsa Classic, 2004, 1.8 overheated on Monday 21 January 2008. It was towed to Oosmey Motors in Rustenburg where it has been standing for a week now. I purchased a single MaxLite bulb for $1.00. When I got home and installed it, it did not light up. So I called the Company to let them know of the defect. The presentative said "no problem". But here's the rub. I received a letter requesting a cash register receipt or a UPC symbol from the package. No problem. But then they requested a $4.00 check or money order per CFL. Why would anyone pay $4.00 for a replacement bulb, when you can purchase a replacement for $1.00 plus tax? So much for a company standing behind it's product. Sometime during the night, an icon showed up on my computer tray. It is an alternating blue shield and red shield w/x. This is usually when some threat is detected by my antivirus program. If I could give half a star I would and I haven't even taken the flight yet. I booked a return flight to Auckland from Sydney for my wife and myself, a family reunion. This company says that their searches are legal and go through the clearing house in Washington, DC. However, when I asked for a refund Fred asid that there is no refund and hung up. I purchased this television for $3,000.00 in 2003. In december 2006 a bulb blew in the tv so they replaced it. What they neglected to tell me was it was in a class action suit for this bulb issue. I was to opt out of it in a certain time if I did not want to be included. However you would have to be informed of it to opt out of it. Then in may of 07 the tv stopped working again. I bought 3 pounds of ground beef from the store at .99 cents and ended up with $4500. worth of dental work. There was a foreign object in the ground beef. Buyer beware when doing business with Satin Boutique. Their shopping cart system should have a disclaimer that the price shown is just an estimate and that you will be responsible for whatever amount the owner decides your order is worth. A party of 10 who were black came in 20 minutes after us and a black hostess and waitress took two table and set up for them and were going to make us continue waiting. The fries and hamburgers were cold. The wait in the drive thru for my order, only was 10 min. The lady Jacobb5 , who took our order was snotty. I spent $34.22 for my cold food, and only had a fifty, and because of that I get an attitude for that. I had to ask for napkins. My complaint is because booking.com works with a hotel by the name of Bungalowpark Domaine de Chodes in Belgium, which apart from being of awful quality, also rips off their customers. In the confirmation they sent me they said that the credit card was only for reservation, and that they wouldn't apply payment. Then they asked for a wire transfer.
