Northwest Inspection Engineers NIE

Northwest inspection Engineers failed to identify multiple and obvious home defects that have resulted in the loss of literally tens of thousands of dollars. Hiring them to perform the pre purchase inspection was a life changing event. Even though these inspectors are professional engineers, they performed at a level that has shocked subsequent inspectors who were hired to evaluate the defects. Inspectors are not expected to catch everything, and certainly not hidden defects. However, the stuff these men missed would be obvious to even a lay person. On Jan 27 we asked for the price of a 2008 Toyota with our 2002 Toyota as a tradein. We were very clear with the salesman that we wanted their bottom line as were going to other dealerships to obtain prices. A price was given and after shopping , we decided to purchase the car at the Huntington dealership as their price was the lowest. I am writing this report to describe just how low this bank will go to try to hide there irresponsible actions and there misconduct of not protecting the account's of senior citizens that held account's with this bank. I purchased a few Condo's through M3 Realty Partners LLC. This is truly the most fraudulent company that I have ever done business with. The agent that we used, we later found out was the owner of the company. It is also said that he owns a Real estate investing company called Southeast Properties in the southed. The Owner/Principle/Agent, scammed plenty of innocent families in the Dorchester area. I found a 149.99 charge on credit card. First of all how did they get my Credit Card Number? When you call they tell you to get your membership number off of your membership packet. I never received a packet! Secondly they told me I cashed a 9.95 dollar check which authorized the membership, which was a lie.
They are a scam and if you are not watching your credit card statements they are going to burn you. They did deactivate the membership and will refund my C.C. I had the same issue with a company called AutoAdvantage and I'm sure they are the same. Time to go to my states attorney general. read full review »

My father opened a membership with LA. After he came home the same day we decided that the membership was not something we needed at that moment. The sales people at the gym convinced him to sign a 3-year contract. My father went back the next day and canceled the membership. Charges have been applied to my credit card for the last two months, which I have just now discovered, without my authorization. I paid $1.97 for a grant search asst. cd for shipping and handling and am still being billed. I wish to close my account, if per chance that is the reason I am being billed. I bought Roxio 9 Suite. The product would not install. Since I do hardware / software support for a living I checked all possible issues that might cause the problem outside of the CDs just being damaged. Nothing worked so I put in a ticket with Roxio support. They sent me back a procedure which sometimes works to install old (Pre 98) products but I tried the instruction twice anyway. First thing I thought about was that they called me on my home phone and I just moved and just got this new number (which I don't even know yet) so I thought it sounded like a scam. I called HSN because one of a multitude of items and sets of Ultrex non-stick cookware that I got from them was really in bad shape... peeled, burnt, and really nasty... other pieces (over 25) also do not look good, but this piece is used daily and is really in bad shape... and I have been sick for over one month since this piece got this way... with some weird immune positive ANA thing - yet to be categorized (all we know that it is nothing normally tested for) is my illness related??? When arriving to the restaurant, the workers are busy, but then, in between customer orders, they are often seen exhibiting immature horseplay in the kitchen. Mainly though, when we received our "Papa" burgers, they had put way too much sauce on them (by the top bun), and the bottom bun of the burger was completely soggy from the two burger patties. They were very messy to eat and the fries weren't very fresh either.

Sears / HE5 Front Load Dryer

I purchased a sears front load HE5 dryer. They have a metal plate on back that looks like it is rusting. I have had this dryer less than a month. I found two friends that have dryers made by Whirlpool which is actually Kenmore. They have the same problem. The service technician said the plate is not rusting but the temperature is so hot its burning the plate. They use to coat the metal plate in white or black but they stopped doing it. He said there is no way to order the part with the white or black coating. The technician said he is not aware of any coloring coming off on the clothes. read full review »

My experience there was decent, until I made the mistake of accidentally leaving my laptop in the room. As soon as I realized, I contacted them, they informed me they had it and would mail it right away. I gave them my credit card to charge shipping. I never received it, and made multiple calls inquiring about it and was always told to call either that evening, or the next morning, and multiple times was told I would receive a call back. They play on family members phone and a notice has been sent to their office numerous of times regarding no calls at place of employment. He explains the "boiler room" Direct TV call center where everyone is a nervous wreck wondering when there will be a raid. Direct TV call center workers are told to say that service calls are free but every one of their sub contracted service techs want a check or cash when they show up at your house. I gave cash up front to Lowe's for a quartz kitchen counter top. The product was flawless, but the installation was incompetent. I have been trying to get it resolved since March 25th and it is now June 18th. After paying $3500 they will correct the mistake if I pay them $500 more. My advice is stay with local home improvement and send Lowe's to Afghanistan. The Taliban wouldn't stand a chance. read full review »

Baldwin Brass Hardware has redesigned (cheapened) some or all of their brass bathroom accessories. The Edgewater Series is one I know for sure has had this make-under and probably all of the so-called 'solid brass hardware' bathroom fixtures. They are no longer solid brass. I was told I could get a 6-month extension but how do you do that when either you cannot get through by telephone, or the telemarketer tells you that she will forward the information to a supervisor and they never call me back. Contracted Empire Today 588-2300 to replace a kitchen floor and was approved through there financing for $1607.00, with a 0 percent interest for 12 months.
I never was late with a payment and was never charged any interests until the 12 months were up in JAN 2008. I now owe a balance of only $400.00 I was never told that I would be charged an astronomical $$ amount of interest on the whole loan which was $1607.00.

When I applied for a cash advance after typing in all my information, a pop up screen came up with three different products for selection. You had to check either yes or no. I checked no and I noticed that my information was still on the screen. I tried to back out of the screen by hitting back and apparently this does not work. Help spread the word on this very unusual new phishing scam posing as a Hit Man that makes Death Threats in this email scam if you don't pay them more the the contract he has already accepted to kill you. These scammers have hit a new low with this scam and it's not a very pleasant email to read for the light hearted.
I can only imagine this email scam will scare the s#it out of some people if they indeed believe it when they read it.

Sometime during the night, an icon showed up on my computer tray. It is an alternating blue shield and red shield w/x. This is usually when some threat is detected by my antivirus program. I ran a scan, but nothing was found and the icon remained.
When I try to clear it, it takes me to www.virprotect.com. It is someone trying to sell me an antivirus/antispyware product. I do not want this product, but I can't tell them so. I purchased this television for $3,000.00 in 2003. In december 2006 a bulb blew in the tv so they replaced it. What they neglected to tell me was it was in a class action suit for this bulb issue. Our Kenmore Elite clothes washer had a pump go out after 3 years of use and we were charged $201.25 to have it replaced. I understand that the warranty has passed and I was not expecting it to be repaired at no charge but $201.25!!!! I contacted Sears and was told those are the charges have a nice day.
