Our 2003 Mazda Tribute has been through 3 alternators in 130,000 kilometers. After doing some research it seems a fair number of other Tributes had destroyed one or two alternators. This was brought to the attention of Mazda when dealing with this issue. They have tried to blame other things such as added on electrical devices which we do not have. Because of Hurricane Dean I was forced to end my vacation in Grand Cayman prematurely. I couldn't get a flight on my airline (American Airlines), so I got a seat on Cayman Airways. I was charged $650 for this flight. When I got home I looked on the internet for the 'normal ' prices for Cayman Airways for a flight from Grand Cayman to Miami. The posted price was $232 for a one way flight. Cayman Airways took advantage of me and many other people during a crisis. This is price gouging. On a recent trip to england, i elected to use a AAA travel money card as a way to access cash i already had (they are supposed to be the replacement for travelers cheques). However, i found out afterwards that the fee is 7% on currency exchange. This is printed in the terms and conditions, but as this is a major part of using the card (safely carrying cash to a foreign country) i think it should be stated up front with the rest of the fees. I have purchased a USB Modem from TATA Indicom in 325 Data Scheme where 1800 min usage is free/month. Unfortunately speed of the modem is very slow and their engineer has visited and verified that. I purchased a new Kenmore washer in Dec. '06. Almost exactly 8 months later, it started smoking, making a grinding noise, and stopped working. I bought an LG fridge 8/26/06 delivered 8/30/06. The fridge has not been able to make ice for 2 months. Service has been to my house 3 times and replaces parts and still no ice. For 1,800.00 I should be able to have the ice maker work. I called the service department several times and have asked to speak to a supervisor.
