Because of Hurricane Dean I was forced to end my vacation in Grand Cayman prematurely. I couldn't get a flight on my airline (American Airlines), so I got a seat on Cayman Airways. I was charged $650 for this flight. When I got home I looked on the internet for the 'normal ' prices for Cayman Airways for a flight from Grand Cayman to Miami. The posted price was $232 for a one way flight. Cayman Airways took advantage of me and many other people during a crisis. This is price gouging. I started my business with them by stating i've been taught to ask, whatever gets replaced on my vehicle, i want in a box when i pick up the car. I needed brakes. Alamo Car Rental at the Miami Airport location. 3355 Nw.22nd St. Rd. Miami, Fl 33142 I rent cars a lot and from Alamo. When I say a lot I have hundreds of weekly rentals with Alamo and I use the same location every time. I bought an LG fridge 8/26/06 delivered 8/30/06. The fridge has not been able to make ice for 2 months. Service has been to my house 3 times and replaces parts and still no ice. For 1,800.00 I should be able to have the ice maker work. I called the service department several times and have asked to speak to a supervisor. I purchased a new Kenmore washer in Dec. '06. Almost exactly 8 months later, it started smoking, making a grinding noise, and stopped working. On June 19th I purchased a 10 week old pomeranian puppy from Pomsource.com. Carol and Scott Miller own this operation, and sell puppies over the internet. After signing a contract and paypaling them the purchase price, they shipped me the puppy. My boss went to the Circuit City in Lancaster, PA and was treated very poorly. She was in the store for 20 minutes and no one helped her. When she asked for service, the associates directed her to other associates. When she finally got frustrated she went to customer service and was directed to a manager. Of course everyone knows that ebay created paypal as a means of collecting money for transactions. What everyone doesn't do is read the end user agreement from paypal to know that they have a disclaimer for every possible situation that doesn't favor the seller or the buyer but themselves. The Mobile store is currently running a promotion claiming to give Rs. 5000/- cash back on purchase of any mobile phone from the store... i must this scheme is absolutely rubbish and it is only a gimmick to attract consumers.
