I had a charge for $100.00 on my bank account from Reaction Finance and after doing research, I am finding that this is an unauthorized charge and this company is a fraud. Same as others. Charges on Verizon bill for "enhanced services" ( voice mail ) which I do not have have ; never signed up for; on my Verizon bill. After 20 minutes Verizon rep finally found a # for me to call allegedly for ESBI. No answer there for 15 minutes . Called back and Left v mail message on that # they never called back. Now in 3rd month of charges. New York State Dept of Public Service tells me they forwarded my complaint to the FTC as they have no jurisdiction. I have been dealing with Aaron's since 2003 when I leased a big screen TV from the store in Poughkeepsie, NY. I relocated back to Georgia in 2005 and have since opened accounts in the Conyers and Stockbridge locations. Ordered a Linksys router/switch. Received rapid email response that order placed and billed my creditcard. Next day I have fraud alert on my citibank creditcard and have to stop all future charges. I call them and give them the fraud alert information so they will check their billing systems. They charged my card and item was shipped to New Mexico instead of California. When I call about item in New Mexico instead of calling me back they send me an email instead of calling. Now I have to call them again to confirm a credit on my creditcard. John Nelson, a customer service rep, recognized that the ad was entered wrong, and I wasn't going to get what I had requested. Before the original camera arrived, he corrected the order. I found a camera package that I have been shopping for lately, and the deal was too good to be true. $1099 for a Canon 40D with TWO lenses, wide and tele. The lenses alone go for $500 and $1000 respectively, plus $1000 for the camera, USED at a reputable company. I placed an order 11/13/08 for free trial/cost shipping 4.95. When I saw no invoice showing this, I immediately tried to call them and reached a recording telling me I would have to wait 61 minutes in order to talk with anyone. We were given a sales agreement which stated we would receive AKC papers for her. My 13-year-old son saved his money to buy a 'customized' Tampa Bay Rays T-shirt. It was considered 'customized' because he chose the last name GARZA (as in pitcher Matt Garza) from a drop-down box of Rays players. This is hardly a free sample nor do you even get the time to receive the product and try it before you can react to cancel.
