Twice in the last week I was approaced by a door to Door salesman, representing Power Windows and Siding. The First guy only stayed 5 minutes but continued to try to sell even after I told him I was not interested. The second however, knocked on the door while I was asleep, he would not take no for an answer, would not leave, No matter what I said, he kept saying he was trying to do me a favor, and explaining the Sales pitch. BOA has been charging my credit card 69.99 each January for the last couple of years. This year it was charged the same amount so when I called them about it the woman I was talking to said " I can cancel that for you" and guess what? She did!! At first I was really happy and then I got to thinking about it. It seems to me that BOA wouldn't be able to cancel a "membership" unless they were the ones making the 69.99 charge to my account. My complaint is that I was trying to set up a recurring payment from my checking acouunt for my Mom pay as you go phone. The amount was only for $25 biweekly. The person that I was talking to said that my check was declined. I call my bank and they said that there wasn't anything received from AT&T declining the amount. I feel that the individual who was taking my call was trying to charge more than what I ask to charge and that is why they kept getting declined. We have been dealing in Metal scrap for quite some time. However in recent times we have noticed very high number of sellers on the net, specially with free sites like alibaba.co and many others. Some sellers offer ridiculous low price, and tempt the buyers, but ask for 30% advance. The phone numbers given is 070xxxxx and who knows how much premium they are paying for that even to call !!. The other way is that they ask for LC before confirming the goods. These LC are used to finance, and used for as long as possible, and then returned. I too went through the same song and dance with Ebay customer service after winning a vehicle from netexchangeauto. I won a 99 Ford F150 for $3105.00 the ad stated there would be a $150 service fee charge added on to the final total after the auction. This company is ridiculous. They offered a free trial of the Globe and Mail but their device would not download it - I just got error messages. The offer was for two weeks and if I cancelled then I would not be billed. As I never got the free trial but noticed that my Visa was billed. After complaining to customer service, repeatedly, they have taken the position that I should have cancelled after the free trial even though I did not get the free trial. In 1989, I owned a home in Moreno Valley, CA. I had an ADT account for the full house security system, one day I had received a call while out with my family at a movie theater, that my alarm had went off. When I had gotten home I was told by the alarm company that they had to enter my home through the upstaris window through my daughters room to see if there were any intruders in my home. I was told that no intruders were found. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE !! I have been a customer for 13 years and spent over $15, 000 there. Today they made me pay $20 for a watch battery that I had already bought a lifetime battery warranty on.
