On Sunday, I took my car in for an oil change, tire rotation and was. This was my first time visiting the business. I dropped off the car around 3:00pm and picked it up at closing time at 5:00 pm.On my way home, I noticed the oil light on and a few minutes later, the car died on the service road. I was able to push the car to a parking lot close by. I opened the hood and with my friend, who has a lot of knowledge about mechanism checked the oil 3 times. The car wash is a pull through, brush clean operation where you stay in your car and the brushes rotate and circle your vehicle several times a cycle. This was the first repair job. The company recommended that I put new tires on the car and to bring it back for a carburetor tune up, also stated on my receipt. When I drove the car that evening the brakes were squishy so I contacted the company and they said it would take a few days for them to firm up; not knowing much about brakes I believed them. The car was taken and they have been harrassassing my aunt (the co-signer) NOT calling me direct or even sending me (the main name on the loan) anything in the mail. I moved to Tennessee and while my Aunt was still getting threatening phone calls for collection I went to the Creditor (Wells Fargo) and started making payment arrangements with them. Bought an extended warranty from US Fidelis. Who then sold it to Choice Manufacturing Company. CMC does not pick up phones. They cover very little. They would not pay the regular labor amount, so my mechanic won't deal with them again. I have to find another mechanic. But, that won't help that they don't answer calls. Took my mechanic 2 days to get a job partially approved. They cover rental upto $100.00 and I was out of pocket $200.00 as I lost 2 days getting hold of them. I bought a new scooter from this company. It quit running at only 555 miles while still under warranty. I did all the scheduled maintenance to the letter using high quality products. I tried to get them to fix it several times and they only gave me a run-a-round (i.e. tighten screws, adjust carb, etc. is all they said). I am not going to pay $400 or more to ship it to them. They could have a local bike shop to fix it free since it was under warranty. So now I am stuck with a $1, 279.00 ornament in my garage. Also, these scooters are made in China. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!"!!! I bought car parts from them months ago and when they sent the wrong parts they argued that this wasn't their fault - which it completely was... As if I would forget to tell them my car and give other details instead!!! I had to pay for the parts to be sent back and now they will not issue a refund. Thankfully I did this with parcelfore so once my banking company has my slip sent back my money will be refunded but I have waited months and they have even already refused the bank's advise to just refund my money... Ever since I bought Kinetic Sym Flyte, it has given n number of issues. The chasis has broken within a span of 1 and half years and servicing people don't even agree its a manufacturing defect. I bought the vehicle on 13th Feb 2007. CarHop uses AutoCheck for their car history reports. This isn't an accurate site. I found that not only has my vehicle, but 18 now sitting on their lots, have sustained previous front-end damage. I am sure their AutoCheck reveals a clean history. Makes me wonder if there is a little money passing under the table or if they are affiliated in some way...get my drift? I ordered two motor scooters from these people. One arrived in perfect condition. The other had seven broken body parts.After numerous unanswered emails and complaints to the California BBB they finally sent me some parts. Some of the parts are the right ones, some are the wrong ones, and I still did not get all of the correct parts. When the oil change was complete, my car was returned to me with the driver's side window rolled all the way down. I drove away from the service garage and tried to let my window up. I bought a brand new Peugeot 206 in 2005 and purchased a 60000km maintenance plan. At my last service I requested Peugeot to check the cambelt. At 71000km while reversing out of my drive way the cambelt stripped and seized my engine. After inspection at the Peugeot workshop they concluded that the cause of the damage was a faulty water pump. There was no indication by means of a warning light that the water pump was faulty. My car was towed by this company, I paid them $45.00 to get my items back. After getting the car at manhain my car's reverse (transmission) didn't work. I have proof that the ford focus was working fine before they took it. My husband call them and the lady that answer the phone said someone will call back, We are still waiting for them to call back. The dealer sold me an extended warranty for a Ford Escape for a 6/100, 000 miles on 7/25/05 It was supposed to be a Ford warranty but Ford does not acknowledge it and the dealer has since gone out of business. And Ford denies any liability for fixing a vehicle with 23, 000 miles on it with number of faults. At this point I would say I'd never buy a Ford again. read full review »

The tire of my Harley Davidson went flat Friday afternoon, leaving me stranded in the middle of nowhere. I called Timp Harley and asked them to come and tow my bike and repair the tire. So far, so good. When they got the bike they called me back and told me that they were unable to repair it and that it needed to be replaced.
