EZ Lube
July 8, 2008
In mid 2007, I went to EZ Lube for a typical oil change + tire rotation per my Acura's maintenance guide. When I got there, they don't offer tire rotation service and they upselled me to change my cabin filter by showing me how dirty it was. I said fine, change it. Now in July 2008, I go to Jiffy Lube in Westchester and I asked them to check my air filters per my maintenance guide. When they pulled it out, it looked like the air filter EZ Lube "replaced" for me was about 2 inches shorter than it should be. Looks like EZ... read full review »

Viking Dodge
July 8, 2008
After driving past Viking Dodge the other day and seeing the sign on the car for this website, I think to myself, perhaps I will go join him and maybe more people would stop and join this guy to make it all more obvious. Not that he isn't doing a GREAT job alone. His sign stands out loud and clear but why are people still going in to shop at Viking Dodge? Ok, so my story was back in 1994. Had 2 kids, needed a van. Go to Viking Dodge and I knew what my payments would be for a 5 year loan/interest rate in order to be getting the van for the... read full review »

Firestone Tire
July 8, 2008
The manager tried to intimidate me that I needed $800.00 worth of brake work and that I could pull out of the driveway and crash if I didn't get the work done. I am not a stupid female and took my car elsewhere. I only needed front brakes and got them fixed for $150.00 from somebody else. Nothing was leaking like firestone said. The other person fixed the problem quickly. Firestone took 3 hours to give me the estimate. They made me wait an extra 40 minutes just to give my keys. I will never go there again. I suggest you don't either. This was 10141 balboa in Northridge. read full review »

I have returned many times again because the light was on and either told there was nothing wrong or they changed the convertor x 2. 7/2 i returned, light on and now mechanic wants to put toyota convertor in and apply my money from 12/5. He admits he used after market parts previously. A toyota convertor done by toyota would cost over a 1000 and would have a warranty for life of the car whereas if he put it in the warranty runs out in a year. My 67 year old father traded for a new 2008 Chrysler and about a month after the deal was made they sent him a bill for $724.01. Because they screwed up the payoff on the car that he traded in. He has bought 4 cars from them and this is how they treat him. When I called several time about this the Manager was always out so I called them from the Pilot truck stop across the street and was told that he was still out then I went to the dealership and he was seating in his office. I have bought over 18 car and have never been treated the way they treated My Father. I would not even buy a skateboard from this dealer. read full review »

We ordered air bags for a 2007 Ford Ranger truck. Air bags consist of driver's side bags + passenger's side bags + module. First, nothing came. When we finally called, there was some dumb excuse so we let the check go through. But we only received one of the air bags, the less expensive one, and from some other state. Next time we got through to him--this man is extremely hard to get to; only one of his 3 phones is answered, and that extremely rarely--the excuse was that the air bag "had blown up in his face as he was pulling... read full review »

I was a travelling nurse last year coming to Salem. I kept my CA driver's license and plates. Then I decided to stay but allowed my license to expire for some dumb reason. So, I hurried to the DMV to get things rectified, as my tags were going to expire at the end of June (08). They sent me packing because their new restrictions on what they can allow for proof of address just went into effect. I am a legitimate renter and have received mail to the address in question. They would no longer accept my rental agreement, most mail, no paycheck... read full review »

My wife purchased a certificate for Stock Car Racing with 1800 Skyride for $299.00. The merchant indicated that Stock car racing would be redeemable in New Jersey within a 2-year period. I have attempted to redeem the certificate numerous times. I have been told Stock car racing is never available in New Jersey. I was now told I have to go to Connecticut to redeem the certificate for Stock Car Racing or I will loose my money. The total value of the certificate was $299. read full review »

This is my 6th Chrysler Product and my first Dodge product. My previous 5 mini-vans were Chrysler Town and Country and this is my first Dodge Caravan. To be honest, Lego is made of stronger plastic than my Dodge bumper. The vehicle only has 6800 miles on it and the bumper needs to be replaced. This winter, I turned around in front of a snowbank, I wasn't even going 2 mph and the bumper tore. I am astonished at the poor quality of this product. read full review »

I called and spoke to a salesman and specifically told him that to pay off the lease was $17, 500 and we went over all the details he would of needed. Because I had problems with them when I first leased the Santa Fe I wanted to make sure they wouldn't screw me again. I initially went in to see a used one after they tried to charge me $18, 000 for, a car that retails for $14, 000 brand new so we tried to leave. They wouldn't let us and yelled at us in the showroom telling us that we had wasted there time. My husband almost hit the guy. In April 2008 I purchased a new Tracker bass boat. It came with a Motorguide trolling motor. I had the boat on water three times. The first was for break in time on the Mercury gasoline motor. On the third time I began having trouble with the trolling motor. The trolling motor has 5 speeds; I started lossing speeds until I finally only had the highest speed. To make it more of a problem if you ran the trolling motor very long (30-40 sec) on high it would cause the resetable breaker to open. I was on vacation at the time. When I returned home I... read full review »

Speedway East Gas Station
July 7, 2008
I have been going to the Speedway gas station for years, mainly because of their lower prices and their rewards program, which is better than any other gas station I have found. However, over the last couple of years I have noticed that a few times per month (sometimes more), the gas price gauge jumps up a few cents (to as much as 50 cents) before I even touch the trigger to start pumping gas. Let me quickly go through the process I routinely do while pumping gas. I first put in my rewards card, then my credit card. Immediately I pull the... read full review »

We own a 2006 Mercury Milan and every time we take the car to the dealer for a service, it seems like they always come up with something else that needs done. Like the last time my wife took it in for a oil change at 25, 000 miles and they told her she had to have the fuel injector cleaned or she would void the warranty. We like the car and want to take care of it but getting it serviced by the ford garage is really getting to be a lot of bull.
