I bought a Maruti Alto Lxi 6 months back. After the second service, the car has become unsteady at 60 km/hr or higher speed, more in 5th gear. It wobbles and I took back to the dealer. They kept the car for 4 days, changed the tyre and gave it back but the problem is worse. They told me in between that they could not diagnose the problem. I purchased 4 all season tires from Canadian Tire and paid to have them installed. After a week I noticed a bulge in one of the tires so I took it back to be replaced. They told me that it is no problem to replace the tire since it was obviously defective. Once they were done with replacing the tire I was told the cost is $32.00 for labour to replace the tire. I argued that I already paid for that...but all this was to no avail. Unbeliveable bad customer service...I took my car to the Canadian Tire in Bolton for a rattling sound, they charge be $83.00 to determine what the problem was. I was called later in the night to advise me of the cost to fix, and I agreed based on the cost that I was quoted. Next day I went to pick up my car the cost was $798.00. I bought a 2006 Kia from them and I did love the love the sportage but they told me it had air and showed me how to work it, turned out that it just blew cold air because it was cold outside. They said they would fix it and put air in it but that never happen, finally said it couldn't be done and would trade it for anoter car same price went there then said they couldn't do that either. I rented a Hyundai Sonata on January 30th at about 11 AM in the morning. I waved all insurace coverage and drive off onto Toute 528 Towards Orlando. afew minutes later I had a flat tire. I had to change the tire on this very busy highway and return the vehicle about an hour later. The car was checked in and the flat tire was noted. I used to go to this mechanic when I lived in the area 15 years ago and stop in every once in awhile. We've experienced too many problems with a brand new 21' 2004 Trophy boat purchased in Nov 2003. Replaced gauges when it was only 2 years old and the entire steering mechanism when it was less than 4 years old. Very dissatisfied with the quality of the boat. I rented a car from Econo Car Jersey City Summit Avenue branch. They told me that if the vehicle was driven to VA state, they would limit the mileage by 1000. I told them I didn't want any mileage or state restrictions. So I paid $10 more per day. The total amount was $ 339.95. (approximately $394 including tax). When I returned the car, they charged me an extra $897 because of the mileage. My local toyota dealer in NJ is offering a free $500 gas coupon if you test drive a new car. Besides the bullying to get you to buy a car, they will practically throw the coupon in your face once you test drive a car but don't buy one. The rebate program is "almost" a scam. You are required to buy $100 in gas every month, mail in the receipts, and then you receive a $25 gas card that month. That means you need to be using $125 in gas per month. The first time i used the company-it was a nightmare. It took over 3 weeks to get the repairs completed. Finally they paid what they were suppose to. On March 21, 2008 I took my car to the Ford Dealer Service Department, figured would move a little faster. I received a call from the Ford Dealer that the Company is in receivership. I would have to pay for the repairs myself and they would reimburse me down the road. They could not give a date as to when i would receive payment. Had the oil changed in my 2006 jeep while in on a recall at Neuwirth Chyrsler Jeep, they charged me $31 no biggie I figured while it was there it would save me some time. This weekend it had been 3000 miles and I had the day off so I went to change it myself, the filter was covered in dirt and looked like it had been on there for a year, drained the oil look terrible. I purchased a 2000 Saab 9-3 from Ray and Eric on 3/8/2008, I didn't drive it until 3/10/2008 due to the dealership not having and inspection sticker on the car. On 3/11/2008 the car breaks down on me. And I had it towed to a mechanic, at this time, i was told that the v-belt had snapped on the car and that the pulley was broken.
