I went on line to ask a Mechanic a question re a heater blower malfunction in my BMW car.I agreed to pay the one off payment of £22.00.This was for one time only.Since then further amounts to the same value have been taken without my authority from my account.This has happened on two further occasions.As stated by me I agreed to only one payment and therefore want a refund of the money amounting to £44.00 which has been unlawfully removed from my account.Incidentally the advice I was given was totally wrong and made no difference at all. read full review »

The shell gas station did not have any signs visabily posted that stated that the gas contained ethanol. When I asked the clerk on due who's name is Victor according to the receipt he said that the gas contained ethanol. I informed him there were no signs his responce was someone must have taken them. I or my wife could not see on any of the pumps any where that a stick could have been that would have said contains ethanol. What a cluster! They have no way of taking or keeping orders straight. I asked for an oil change, new battery and new wiper blades. I was told the battery was $49.99 and when I checked out it was actually $149.99. A price list on the wall would help. After paying under protest and after 90 minutes, my car came out of the wash and sat for several minutes with nobody working on it. Workers spent all their time resetting all the auto pre-set buttons on my radio, all six buttons were set to the same country station, and my seat memory buttons had been changed! This is a MOOT point, but each time I see their commercials I get angry. Back in 2006 approx I had my 1988 GMC S15, 5 speed truck worked on. The horn switch, wiper switch did not work well. I would go as far as to say Alamo LAX are criminals! Do not rent from them! We did book a SUV, Ford Escape or similar, this car comes whith a 2.5 or 3.0 liter engine and we had made good research about this car being perfect for us.. Have had a 2008 Subaru Tribeca since new. Since I took delivery, I have had a problem with it hesitating when climbing a slight grade or as when passing another vehicle. I feels as though the engine is misfiring, although I was assured by the technicians that this was not the case. The problem, I was advised, was in the transmission. On 9-19-2010 I took my vehicle to Sacramento to attempt to sell it to CarMax (Roseville) and Nissan on AutoRow in Sacramento. During the review of CarMax's cash offer they advised me AutoCheck (a part of Experian) had listed 2 (two) accidents reported for my vehicles VIN. Took my car in to get the wires concealed. They where not suppose to touch any settings on anything. When I got the car back about 200m down the road got an electronic smell. It just so happened that they fiddled with the amp and blew the sub-woofer which was 2 days old. When I confronted them about it they just said that they take no responsibility for it. If I can give you advice take all things not needed for what you want done out of the vehicle as they will not take any responsibility for anything that is wrong with equipment after getting it back.
