The guy called and said that I owed over $2, 000 on a line of credit from CompUSA from almost 10 years ago. I never had a line of credit at Comp-USA. The guy said that they'd been sending me bills. I never recieved any bills. He had my address and the last 4 numbers of my social security number. He said the debt showed on my credit report. They tried to up sell me and told me the advertised item was an "internet" model that had an inferior battery, charger etc. They asked me if I wanted to upgrade to a USA model for $60 more. I bought a laptop charger from Maars Computers gurgaon 4 months back. I was very hapy initially because he gave me 6 months GUARANTEE (I have the bill with details mentioned) and gave home delivery for that. However, I was mistaken. That charger did not work just after 7 days. Since then, I am calling him again and again. Wasted on phone calls more amount than the price of charger. But he is not replacing it. I have been receiving in my mobile no. 9987434836 unsolicited value added messages for the last two months.For every message, I get a debit of Rs.3/. I recently found a charge for "Norton Annual Renewal" on my Visa statement. The phone number 877-294-5265 is, I believe, a scam and will put you on hold indefinitely. I stayed on the line for over 30 minutes to see. I called Symantec who makes this product and they verified that they have NOT made any charges to my account. We purchased a Nikon D5000 with extra VR 55-200 lense for $900+. On 11-21-09 in the middle of the night someone used my bank card to purchase something from Kaspersky.com. We found 2 charges for $108.02 to be charged to our account. I bought a laptop charger and battery pack from Yall stores, via ebay. After a couple of months the charger packed up. It turned out to be a faulty lead, which I replaced at my expense. A further month down the line the Battery needed an overnight charge to supply 30 minutes power. I complained. Yall stores said it could not find my order, despite giving them the PayPal receipt no. After I bought this Laptop I discovered that there were no Bluetooth device installed though a blue tooth touch button is there. At times during start up ACER Arcade Delux was started up automatically and then windows couldn't boot saying that there are some hardware settings change so can't boot. She was promptly told that Walmart did not have ANY WII fits in stock and neither did ANY of the Walmart stores.
