A little over a year and a half ago I bought an HP Laptop (DV9000) it turns out there was an issue with the companies Motherboards (Actually many HP motherboards have this issue, which makes them fall apart easily. I ordered a Canon Powershop G10 camera from Lorimer Electronics and specifically as them if the camera was a full-fledged unit for sale in the US. I was assured that it was. When I got the camera, it was not in the type of packaging that it should have been but a generic box with a sticker that had the make and model of camera printed on it. Service has been completely unacceptable. I have not received a confirmation email, shipping info or any communication from MyDigitalUniverse.com at all. They charged me, but have been totally unresponsive. I called customer service today and was told that customer service is closed (1 hour before their website says it closes) and that they are closed on the weekends (again not what the website says). I have a company cell phone that continues to unexpectedly beep loudly in my ear. It does it when picking up voice mail or when trying to call out to some one... it is erratic, so it will go for awhile and not beep - and then it appears again. I keep the phone charged up, so its not that - I know i ahve lost hearing in both ears because of this. Since, costs has been a factor to buy a new phone, I tried to use this one for now by always using my cheek as a buffer, but sometimes it happens that its close to my ear. Purchased a Lexmark X5650 in late December. Offer came with a 4 GB memory card from HSN. This printer SUCKS, and uses a large amount of ink also. Took 2 days to try to get to install. Neither Lexmark or HSN has been any help. HSN promised to send a new memory card and then backed out. They also stated that they would issue a partial refund, and that didn't happen either. I purchased this laptop with the specific aim of it being my most precious purchase for University. In only the first month of usage the PINK paintwork has chipped. I am unimpressed with the the physical paintwork of my laptop, after only a month it began to chip. It has been residing in appropriate room conditions and is wonderfully cared for - by me. This is just another internet scam. I googled for iomega super dvd driver and I was directed to driver detective drivers for iomega products. They claim you download the drivers you need for free, but what you download is a driver detective program. After you install the program you must register it and here is when they charge you 29.95 dollars or more. Do not fall for this as I did. You will get nothing and they may ruin your computer.
