I always bought Sears Easy Living paint and bragged about it to everyone. I recently bought ceiling paint, wall paint and semi-gloss for woodwork. The wall paint was fine. However, the ceiling paint was thick like paste and took a whole gallon to cover an approximately 12 x 15 ceiling. The semi-gloss did not shine at all. My wife and I have been on the phone with 2-10 customer service for hours addressing an garbage disposal issue. The issue is that the thing doesn't work properly. What they told us is that if it turns on it works and you are not suppose to put food down a garbage disposal and any clog that occurs is entirely our fault because of negligence. Company technician came to home to do cost estimate to install under the sink disposal unit. Before coming i discussed with office representative that there would be no fee for house call, and gave estimates from 3 other firms ranging from $185-$200 for the work and i would not pay more. Had broken spring 3 yrs ago. Called Precision Door Service. Was quoted $225 for springs & labor. Guy came to house and charged $65 service fee, $5 lube fee, $10 shop supply fee in addition to the $225. Then said needed worn rollers replaced for $150 in order to have springs warranteed. I purchased two GE agitatorless washer/dryer sets in October 2009. My son & daughter-in-law's set was defective from the first & they exchanged for complete different sets a few days after delivery. In June of 2009, I purchased and had installed a laminate floor manufactured by Shaw. The product is their Radiant Luster line. It's their top of the line floor and expensive. My Oasis Washer is 2 years old and has a chronic problem with the "Balance Alarm". It was Tinkered with but not fixed and now the warranty has expired. Sears offered to sell us an extended warranty for $119.00 to cover labor. The parts will be $300 to $400. This is unacceptable. Sears is selling warranties, not decent appliances. On April 12, 2010, after raising the concrete in our driveway, CRC Concrete left most of their "slurry" on our grass. This company is accredited with BBB and they shouldn't be. We ordered roll down blinds for the living at the beginning of April 2009. The "designer" came to measure for an additional 97 dollar fee our floor to ceilingwindows. We wanted four separate sections.
