My Kenmore garbage disposal stopped working 2 weeks ago. Since it had a 7-year warranty, I called Sears "service" to see what my options were. I was told by a female employee that the earliest they could send someone out was in 2 weeks time. I have a Kenmore Elite model 795-77553600. The display on the front door started going crazy for about a week and is now completely out. I had a Sears tech. come out and tell me it was the computer board behind the display. Instead of paying the 354.00 to him, I decided to order it myself and plug it in...easy...right! It didn't work. I previously (November 2009) purchased two autogenerators from Calla Breeze which failed miserably in the following ways: 1. The small mini breeze only produced 3 volts, even with winds of 15 mph. I have a stratolounger recliner that is about 3 years old and is in great condition. This chair was used very sparingly the past couple of years and now has been pressed into use, As I said the chair is in great condition, however a problem has arisen in bringing the chair from a reclining position to s normal seating position. It is so stiff that it is very difficult to press the leg protion of the chair down to start the positioning process. You have to slam your legs down very hard to get the mechanism to move. I bought a Samsung range in August 2009. When I received it, I noticed that one of the four burners was not working. I called service right away. Since then, I've received the visit of about 6 technicians, but they never had the right part. Well, it's been 7 MONTHS now, and it still hasn't been repaired. I called Sears many times, never felt any compassion or real urge to help. When I called on April 7, was told I would be called back within 48 hours. Never heard from Sears again. We purchased an expensive Eastlake 50'' x 86'' Dining Table [2375-5086] from Cabot House in Portsmouth, NH around 3 years ago. I moved to my current address in December of 2008. When I moved the electricity and gas was already on. So I had to go to both and get the bills switched to my name and start anew with my accounts.
